14:00: Move to Quan Ba a pictorial road with breathtaking views of the countryside. Stop at Heaven’s Gate for stunning views of Tam Sơn Valley and Twin Mountains (Núi Đôi Cô Tiên) a well known geological park.

18:00: Arrive in Yen Minh, check into your hotel room, and take a rest after a full day trip. If it is evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, and try the typical food in the region.

06:30: Breakfast in the hotel; then take off to enjoy an interesting day.
08:00: Transfer to Doc Tham Ma, where you will visit a steep mountain pass. Ask the locals about this area and how, in days gone by, horses were brought here to test their strength against the rough terrain. Take in breathtaking scenery shots and memorable photos.
10:00: Arrive at the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam. You will have a chance to contemplate panoramic views down the deep valleys and jagged peaks. Down below, turquoise waters of the Nho Que River wind through the cliffs of the Tu San Canyon, the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia.

13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Van District Town rich in cultural traditions.
15:00: Visiting Dong Van Old Quarter, the well known area with the nostalgic area of the traditional houses of H’mong people appearing together with the delightful architecture of the French. You are allowed to take your time to walk around the ancient streets and explore the special culture.
19:00: Dinner in Dong Van more chance to try various local foods and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this mountain town.

Lung Cu Flag Tower
06:30: Start the day by traveling north of Vietnam to Lung Cu Flag Tower. This symbolic tower is set atop Long Sơn Peak and offers spectacular views across the border into China. This is considered a very important national symbol and just one of the key stops along the route in Ha Giang.
09:30: Visit the Palace of the Hmong King Dinh Vua Mèo in Sa Phìn Valley. The historic palace built in the early 20th century looks at the life in which one of the most powerful families in Ha Giang lived.
11:30: Begin our beautiful drive back to Hanoi. Stop en route for lunch in Yen Minh to give you one last taste of the gastric delights of Ha Giang.

Timing is of the essence in making the most of traveling to Ha Giang. The best season to visit would be during autumn and spring. In the autumn, it is covered with golden rice terraces, while buckwheat flowers or Tam Giác Mạch spread out with shades of pink and purple hues.
