6:30 AM – Departure from Hanoi
Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Today, your day starts early at 6:30 AM, picked up from Hanoi. You will be transferred by a comfortable car in an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel or a meeting spot. En route, we stop for breakfast at a local rest stop where you grab some snacks to fill up and get ready for the day.
9:30 AM – Arrival at Cuc Phuong National Park
After about 3 hours of driving, we arrive at the Cuc Phuong National Park, the oldest national park in Vietnam. Upon arrival, meet local rangers and your guide for a brief talk on safety and an introduction to the park’s history, and unique biodiversity discussion, and discuss today’s plan in general.
10:00 AM – Visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center
Before embarking on any treks, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre to encounter, up close and personally, very rare and, in fact, endangered primates, including Delacour’s langur and other species that are part of vital conservation efforts in the region. You’ll be able to learn about the center’s mission to rehabilitate these animals and reintroduce them into the wild.
11:00 AM – Start of the Trekking Adventure (4-hour Trek)
Now, it is time to hit the trails! We will set out on a 4-hour hike through the lush forests of Cuc Phuong National Park.
