5:30 AM: Departure from Hanoi
We begin our adventure very early! You will be picked up from your Hanoi hotel in our private vehicle. Supporting the scenic drive towards Mu Cang Chai Mountain, this beautiful region offers a panorama of landscapes and colorfully dressed ethnic cultures. It is a 7-hour drive, so remember to bring along the camera for capturing roadside shots.
9:00 AM: Short Break at Khau Pha Pass
First, visit Khau Pha Pass, one of the nicest and most dramatic mountain passes in Vietnam. While at the pass, take in the breathtaking views of the valley below. Added to this unfolding scene are the layers of mist, lending mystique to every layer. This will be a very great place for stretching your legs and taking a few quick photos.
11:00 AM: Stop at Tu Le Village
Next, we will go to Tu Le Village, a small and attractive mountain town. It is the time to enjoy a local snack and in particular a famous Tu Le green rice (com). The fragrant-smelling rice is indeed a locally typical produce and surely must not be missed for food lovers. You are allowed to take a short walk around this village, communicate with locals and observe their daily life.
1:00 PM: Lunch in Tu Le
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Tu Le, which is an excellent opportunity to taste the most fantastic grilled stream fish, sticky rice, and different local mountain herbs, all freshly prepared and full of flavors from the region.
2:30 PM: Arrival at Pung Luong Bamboo Forest
Right after lunch, we continue our journey to highlight the main purpose of our trip: the Pung Luong Bamboo Forest. The moment you enter this place, you are immediately welcomed with the presence of tall, rich green bamboo groves. Everything is so serene here; hence, it is one of the ideal spots for photographers intent on capturing nature in all its shades.
You’ll have ample time for a leisurely walk around the bamboo forest, basking in its serenity and taking plenty of pictures. 6:00 AM: Early Breakfast

Early rise to witness the first light from the Mam Xoi Viewpoint-one of the most iconic viewpoints in Mu Cang Chai. 8:00 AM: Photography Session at La Pan Tan Rice Terraces
After Mam Xoi, we visit the most famous La Pan Tan terraced fields.
