Exploring Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac)
Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac), otherwise known as Silver Waterfall among the local population, sets the perfect scene for your journey. Water, falling from a height of 50 meters, splashes onto the downstream rocks with sounds that are resonant and melodious. Moving closer, trekking nearer to it, refreshing mist greets you while crash waters are drawn onto the rocks downstream: an energizing vision. It is the perfect place to appreciate great shots and bask in the raw beauty of nature.

Conquering O Quy Ho Pass
Next on the itinerary is the thrilling conquest of O Quy Ho Pass, one of the most challenging and scenic mountain passes in Vietnam. Known as one of the “Four Great Passes" of Vietnam, O Quy Ho stretches over 50 kilometers and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. As you ascend the pass, you’ll be treated to vistas of dense forests, deep valleys, and, if you’re lucky, a blanket of snow during the winter months. The sense of achievement upon reaching the top is unparalleled, making this a highlight of our Sapa tours.
Next up is the thrilling conquest of O Quy Ho Pass, one of the hardest and most picturesque mountain passes in Vietnam. It is considered one of the “Four Great Passes" of Vietnam. O Quy Ho Pass is over 50 kilometers in length with broad and long views covering the panoramic Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Venture your way through the pass, and views of thick forests and deep valleys with a blanket of snow if you are lucky through the winter months will unfold. Reaching the top, you would have a different world, a feeling of standing on top of the world, nowhere else matches the achievement one will have from our Sapa tours
Visiting Cat Cat Village
Sapa Dao Homestay and trekking tour cannot be completed without a visit to the Cat Cat Village. It’s such a lovely small village with the Black H’mong people living in it. I must say that in this small village, you get to know a little bit about their traditional way of life. When trekking in this tiny village, you will find some people who are weaving textiles, manufacturing jewelry, and doing work in the fields. The place also shelters the Cat Cat Hydroelectric Station, characterized by a fall that decorates the place with scenic beauty. There is also an interesting opportunity to learn about H’Mong culture and an initiative toward the local economy through the purchase of handicrafts and textiles.
Cultural Immersion of Sapa Dao Homestay and Trekking Tours
Stay at Sapa Dao Homestay
Your headquarters for the tour will be the wonderful Sapa Dao Homestay, where you will get to enjoy a real H’Mong welcome reception. Your stay here will be in comfortable, homely accommodations, with traditional meals to boot. It’s not just a place to wash your head; it’s a key element in your cultural experience in Sapa.
Interaction with Local H’Mong People
One of the most enriching aspects of our Sapa Dao Homestay and trekking tours is getting to interact with the locals: H’Mong. You can have some time to socialize with them, talk about daily life, or maybe try some traditions on your account. Whether it is joining in farm-like duties or taking part in some dancing, these bring the depth of knowing how their lives function and foster better relationships with tourists and locals.
Participation in Traditional Activities
The activities to be undertaken at the homestay are traditional activities within your period of stay. You can try to weave the textiles, cook local dishes, or take part in traditional ceremonies. All these practical experiences are great and knowledgeable, allowing you to have a taste of the H’Mong culture.

Sapa has another one of the iconic images that touches the stretches, as far as the eyes can see, of terraced rice fields. This not only shows that local farmers are ingenious, but it equally forms a fantastic visual spectacle. As you further down the valleys, you will be up close with these terraces and equally see the lush greenery, which characterizes the landscape. This is a perfect chance to take in the peaceful beauty of the Sapa countryside
