Ta Lang Pass
It is not wrong to say that Doc Ta Lang - Ha Giang is the most dangerous road in the remote area.
Ta Lang Pass Information
Overview: It is not wrong to say that Doc Ta Lang – Ha Giang is the most dangerous road in the remote area. Few people would have guessed that, on this 7.5km long pass, there are 45 floors of passes and nearly 50 sharp turns more than half of which are sleeve crabs – real tough challenges for all riders. even those with hard steering.
How to conquer the pass? Located at an altitude of nearly 1,500m above the edge of Nho Que River, Doc Ta Lang – Ha Giang is a challenging ‘obstacle’ that you need to overcome if you want to reach Tu San Alley – the deepest canyon. Southeast Asia with its majestic and majestic scenery makes many people remember. The road at Doc Ta Lang is only enough for 2 motorbikes to avoid each other when moving. So according to MIA.vn’s self-sufficient experience of going to Ha Giang, the motorbike is the most suitable means of transport that you can choose.
If you depart to Doc Ta Lang – Ha Giang by motorbike, you can move according to the following route: Dong Van town – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Ta Lang. If traveling from Ma Pi Leng Pass, it will take you about 20 to 30 minutes (for those with hard steering), and those with weak steering will take more time because the road is relatively short. hard to go.
Currently, in the center of Ha Giang city, there are many shops that operate motorbike rental services and bring cars to the hotel you are staying at. The price per day for car rental ranges from 180,000 VND (for digital cars) and from 550,000 VND to 600,000 VND per day (for clutch cars). Winding mountain passes: Ha Giang is always famous for its winding mountain passes, such as Doc Bac Sum – Ha Giang, Doc Chin Khoanh – Ha Giang, Doc Tham Ma, etc. But most prominently, there must be no name that can pass Ta Lang Doc – the most dangerous road in the border area when it owns nearly 50 bends with challenging bends.
Owning 45 floors of passes with bends with a slope of over 20%, the difference from the highest point to the surface of Nho Que river is about 800m. The total road of Doc Ta Lang is about 8km and only enough for 2 cars to move away from each other at the same time.
When conquering Doc Ta Lang – Ha Giang, you must really be a tough driver, otherwise, you will surely be overwhelmed by the difficulty of the most dangerous slope in this land. Throughout the journey, you will be driving with one side of the cliff standing majestically in the sun and wind, and the other side is a deep abyss that you can’t see the bottom forever. Even, many of the bends here have a very steep slope and are sharp turns, so if you go by motorbike, you will have to drop the gears to 1st and 2nd gear as well as handle the brake pedal and handbrake continuously.
Although this road is difficult, return, the scenery in Doc Ta Lang is nothing to describe. Standing from the highest point at Ta Lang Doc, you will see the wild and majestic scenery of the Northeast mountains with undulating peaks and Nho Que stream looming in the misty sea. In addition, you can also see in the distance the houses that appear and disappear between the four lush grass and trees, and on the other side of the mountain are countless rice trees standing proudly in the sun, wind, and clouds. in this rugged rocky plateau.
Journey to conquer Ta Lang Doc: In the journey to conquer Ta Lang Doc – Ha Giang, you must once visit to take a commemorative photo next to Lung Cu Flagpole – a landmark marking the northernmost point of our country in this rocky plateau. In the past, many people often misunderstood that milestone 428 was the northernmost point, but that was not the case. Landmark 428 is located about 3.3km from Lung Cu Flagpole and right in the middle area of Nho Que stream.
If you have the opportunity to visit Lung Cu Flagpole, when standing from the top, you will be able to admire the unspoiled Northeast natural picture which contains many interesting things. What’s more wonderful than the feeling of watching the mist in the middle of the vast mountains and forests, breathing the fresh air, and feeling each forest wind as if “dancing" on every inch of skin, right?
