For those who like pottery, the historically and culturally rich city of Hanoi ceramic stores is a veritable gold mine. Vietnam’s capital city is home to several ceramic shops that sell exquisite and one-of-a-kind items. These pottery shops in Hanoi have to be on your list of places to visit, regardless of whether you’re a collector or merely seeking a lovely memento. The following are the best pottery shops you need to go to:
Renowned for its cutting-edge designs, Cerender Ceramics combines modern aesthetics with traditional Vietnamese workmanship. You’ll be pining for that octopus-print mug or watermelon-shaped dish you never realized you wanted after seeing the colorful and unique assortment.
“This is a real gem in Hanoi. The shop has a huge selection of unique ceramics in all shapes and sizes: fun chopstick rests shaped as cats or fish, quirky bowls, mugs with funny characters, big hand painted bowls, depicting bears, birds or just pretty patterns, unusual ceramic spoons, the selection of items is never ending.”
“❤️❤️❤️. Cerender is my favorite stores for ceramic utensils with modern creative designs but also features that bring out the typical and artistic image of Vietnamese ceramics in general and Bat Trang ceramics in particular.”
“Very nice items here! The design is cute or elegant and the packaging for traveling is perfect. The people at the Hanoi shop are very smart!”

“For those who love to visit and travel to nearby places on weekends, Bat Trang pottery village is an extremely interesting destination for you. Only less than 15km from the center of Hanoi, Bat Trang will take us to ceramic paradise, especially visitors can directly watch artisans make ceramic products with many types of flexibility and sophistication. Or you can manually mold the products to your liking.
In addition, when traveling to the pottery village, you will see ancient architecture, beautiful sculptures, experience folk games, sit on rustic buffalo carts to go to places. If you love traditional festivals, go to Bat Trang Communal House, where the Tutelary God is worshiped and is also a venue for festivals all year round.”
“Authentic Batrang is a lovely, small pottery shop with some beautiful pieces at good prices. Highly recommend stopping by this little shop to take home a little piece of Hanoi.”
“I happened to stop by this stores and happened to chat with the Sony boss about Bat Trang and the rich clay in the area where he came from. Even if you don’t buy anything, stop by because this is a small museum and a feast for the eyes! I came away with an extremely safe souvenir that will be perfect for my new home.”
Another treasure in Hanoi’s ceramic landscape is Hiên Vân Ceramic stores. This business, which is well-known for its creative approach, sells a range of ornamental and utilitarian goods. Vietnamese ceramic art is best shown by Hiên Vân Ceramics, which offers everything from exquisitely glazed bowls to elaborately designed vases. Additionally, the shop offers custom-made goods, enabling clients to buy one-of-a-kind products that are catered to their tastes.
“I recall the farm markets in the north. Small booths with a few seasonal local goods were available, and the family brought everything they had to the market.
In addition to buying and selling, visitors to the market engage in small talk. An honest and giving existence.
The idea for the stall originated from the need to create a modest, local, and high-quality stores stand in this metropolitan location. However, we also want to create a balanced ecology where humans and wildlife coexist and really form connections with each other. Let’s protect the lovely things for next generations."
– Lotus
Offering high-quality, healthful, and locally produced goods, the stand supports Vietnamese producers that share the goal of lessening production’s negative effects on the environment and society.
The business describes itself as a grocery stores of leisure and aims to be a pleasant and welcoming space both inside and outside.
Sap’s products always aim at three core elements:
Safety – the product needs to ensure no or minimal chemical intervention in all stages of production; Manufacturers are interested in balancing the area of exploited raw materials.
Quality – the product needs to be of good quality, delicious and unique flavor; The finished product has integrity and aesthetics.
Locality – to limit emissions, the stores only selects products made in Vietnam and cares about the rights of local workers.
According to the stores, decisions on what to buy—from food to lodging to clothes—have a direct impact on social and environmental problems. Chemical-free products are good for the environment and for human health.
It is hoped that the stall would provide good things that are kind to your bodily and emotional well-being, such as clean foods, beverages, clothing, and accessories.
