Upon arriving in Tu Le, there will be an easy trek into the large and lush rice valley: a soft introduction to the awakening sceneries of Mu Cang Chai. You visit the village and meet friendly residents, as well as capture cool pictures of green fields and traditional houses.

Morning: 16 km Trek from Kim Noi to Che Cu Nha
Our trail today covers 16 kilometers from Kim Noi to Che Cu Nha, with so many great views en route. The trek offers plenty of breathtaking views over terraced rice fields in the valleys, towering Punsum mountain ranges overlaid by thick forest, and typical Hmong villages. We hope to cover many miles and plenty of areas for you to enjoy and be able to take many photos on this route
Detailed Description of the Trek
The walk starts with a slight climb through the rice terraces. Further uphill, it gets more spectacular with the view of terraced fields lying down below and mountains rising at the back. We’ll make some Hmong village visits en route and study many things about traditional farming as well. In some instances, we may get to interact with the local people. The Hmong do have a great culture with many vibrant colors on their clothes, adding some experience to your trek information as well.
Viewing Rice Terraces and Hmong Villages
Spectacular panoramic views of the terraces also offer a treat for today’s trek. These witnesses to the ingenuity and pure hard work of locals farming these areas for generations reflect effort. As we go on walking, you are going to see the intricate patterns of the terraces and the colors of the harvest in their different stages: green and gold, making the most breathtaking of tapestry.
Lunch: Picnic on the Trail
We shall stop for lunch and take the opportunity to picnic amongst all of this wonderful scenery. This is the perfect time to relax and refuel amidst the beauty of all that’s around you.
