07:30 – We leave Hanoi behind and hit the road, traveling in the direction of Pu Luong. Along the way, you will see the landscape change: mist-covered hills, green rice paddies, and picturesque ethnic villages along the curving mountain roads.
12:00 – Afternoon arrival at Lua Pu Luong Hilltop Retreat. This hilltop retreat on a peaceful Leo Village slope greets you in a natural setting of stone-and-wood cottages, half-al fresco bathrooms, and private verandahs overlooking a green sea of terraced fields.

08:30 – We bring you to a serene stream close to Leo Village to go on a once-in-a-lifetime bamboo rafting ride. Float serenely along riverbanks lined with forest and smallholdings, accompanied by a local guide
10:00 – If it’s Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, you’ll catch a glimpse of ethnic market life in Pu Luong. Make your way through rows of brightly colored fabrics, mountain herbs, and fresh fruits and vegetables, as the locals come to sell and mingle together.
11:30 – Head back to Lua Pu Luong, load up, and have your last lunch while getting one last glimpse of the valley.
13:00 – We leave for Hanoi. We anticipate arriving at around 17:30 and 18:00, in time to look back at the wonderful retreat you have just had.

07:00 – Begin the day by having breakfast at Lua Pu Luong. Today we’re heading further into the mountains.
07:30 – Hieu Waterfall, a breathtaking cascade running through jungle and limestone layers, is reached by a longer hike or drive. Refresh by a swim, relax on boulders, and absorb the pure tranquility.
10:30 – During the return journey, we’ll stop at Bat Cave, a secluded natural marvel inhabited by ancient stalactites and refreshing air. Flashlight at the ready, you’ll be venturing in where very few visitors have ventured.
12:00 – Hike back to the retreat for lunchtime. Enjoy a new variety of mountain cuisine, maybe fish grilled in the stream or steamed sticky rice in a bamboo cooker.
