Tour overview

Explore the rural traditional village of Hanoi: Duong Lam

On this tour, you will take a visit to Duong Lam Village, which is notable for its preservation of traditional Vietnamese village life. Established over a thousand years ago, it still remains its ancient look even when modern development has taken over. The village is well-known for its historical and cultural landmarks, reflecting the lifestyle and architectural styles of ancient Vietnam.

A deeper dig into the local life: Our tour will lead you exploring this ancient village. It is not just a historical site but a living community, more than that, visitors can experience traditional crafts, such as pottery and weaving. Well, if you are truly a food lover, you can try the original taste of Vietnamese cuisine, which is also called “Cơm nhà".

Discover  the architectural highlights right inside the village: The village features an unreal collection of traditional red brick houses, which were constructed using local sourced materials and techniques. Among these houses, some over 400 years old, are characterized by red brickworks and tiled roofs. The architecture of the village provides a window into the past, with its narrow alleys and communal courtyards.
