Essential Tips for Booking Your Ho Chi Minh Boat Tour
Book in Advance for the Best Experience
It’s very much recommended that you book your Ho Chi Minh Boat Tour in advance, well in advance if you want a dinner cruise for example (which is highly recommended). These tours are very busy, especially on weekends and on public holidays. Impress Travel will advise you should book a minimum of 3-2 days before travelling. Booking in advance means you can secure your preferred date, location, the best seating, and style of cruise.
Choose the Right Cruise Type for Your Experience
All Ho Chi Minh Boat Tours are not created equal. Pick the one that fits your style best:
Dinner Cruise: When to do it, a perfect romantic night or family night outside, with a dress buffet or set menu with live band and singer.
BBQ Boat Saigon: Ideal for those who are looking for a fun and interactive Bay cruise tour with BBQ grilling on the boat.
Speed Boat Tour: For those on a time crunch, a speedy and adrenaline-pumping way to glimpse the city skyline.
Private Charter: Tailored for special events and intimate service.
Dress Smart and Comfortable
Your outfit on a Ho Chi Minh Boat Tour will make sure you feel great while having a good time.
Smart Casual: Choose stylish and comfortable attire for evening cruises on the water, including sundresses, polo shirts, cotton or linen button-ups.
Footwear: Alternatively, go for comfortable shoes that are easy to get around the deck in.
Light Jacket: Nighttime cruises can be a bit chilly, and a light jacket is a good thing to have.
Sun Protection: For day trips, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat.
Know What’s Included in Your Ticket
Before booking, be sure you know what’s included with your Ho Chi Minh Boat Tour ticket:
Inside: Beautiful river views at dawn or night, from buffet or set menu (depending on the option selected), live performers (boat cruising dinner only), and an onboard guide providing insight into Vietnamese culture.
Not Included: All premium drinks (cocktails, wine, special drinks), special menu upgrades (BBQ selections), and transfer to the departure point.
Choose the Best Seats for the Best Views
The seating of choice can have a profound impact on your experience:
Upper Deck (Open-Air): Offers a beautiful panoramic view of the city’s skyline, and is a great place for pictures.
Lower Deck (Indoor): Air-conditioned comfort, perfect for families or those who wish for a quieter abode.
VIP Section: Premium service, the best views of the performances, and a more private dining area.
