Get to your charming ec0-lodge or traditional homestay by 1:00 PM. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon to relax and wind down. Pu Luong Sky Gate
Having been bathed by the sun, we will embark on the Hiêu Waterfall. We arrive around 8:30 AM. This place is considered as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in this region and is a perfect site to replenish your spirits. You just may take a dip in the cool crystal water or simply laze on the rocks. The pure ambiance there guarantees a soul-lifting experience.
We’ll have a great opportunity to sample typical dishes in a local village at around noon. Those typical dishes are prepared by the families of the locals, who pour culture and tradition into every bite. Leaving after lunch, we’ll keep moving to the lonely town of Kho Mường with splendid terraced fields and kind-hearted residents. It’s a village that takes you back in time. Simply wandering through it evokes a feeling of observing the way of living for hundreds of years, both simple and honest, and inspiring.
In the evening, at approximately 4:00 PM, you will be allowed to join in some playful doings where you will experience the very best of Pu Luong culture. On your last day, you wake up early at 7:00 AM. to travel to the famous water wheels at Pu Luong, said to make the terraced fields here. These interesting water wheels have been used for generations to irrigate the terraced fields but are a testament to the ingenuity of the local communities. Activities related to traditional farming methods, which are carried out daily here, will be a great opportunity for you to experience them yourself.
It will be late morning, and the adventure will have been underway for some time, by now the perfect time for some bamboo rafting on the placid Cham River. It’s the most rewarding moment to think about your journey and grab those last memorable views of Pu Luong right on the riverbank with its greenery and serene waters.
By noon and 12:30 PM, we meet for a splendid farewell lunch to continue celebrating wonderful experiences to be shared and friendships built through your tour. Afterwards, we head back by road to Thanh Hoa, where you will arrive on time for your flight in the afternoon back to Ho Chi Minh City. Pu Luong is a natural reservation in the northern land of Vietnam. It is 160 km away from Hanoi and is a 4-hour drive north-west of Hanoi.
