Although train schedules show them to come daily, sometimes they do and sometimes not, so if you’re lucky, you may catch one and experience the huge train passing right in front of your face.   We begin the City tour with a short drive to visit Temple of Literature which was built in 1070 by Ly Emperor and is dedicated to Confucius & other sages and scholars – Temple of Literature which is also served as Vietnam’s first National University where so many kings studied and the training of thousands of best-talented men of Vietnam
• 9:30 am: Depart for Duong Lam Ancient Village, located some within 60km from central Hanoi to the West. Duong Lam village is a purely agricultural village, typical of the Northern Red River delta, still preserved and standing many hundred-year-old houses.
• On arrival at Duong Lam, we start our walking tour from the Main Entrance of the village, amazingly. Duong Lam is the only hamlet with the village’s original main entrance gate remains intact till today, continue walking into the village, we take a visit to the Mong Phu communal house which located in the very center of the Duong Lam village, the Communal house is one of the most solemn places where worships the Tan Vien Mountain Saint – one of four immortal Saint in Vietnamese traditional conceptions – as the tutelary of the village, the Communal house is one of the beautiful artwork, a type of Northern Vietnam.

• After lunch, we keep walking, going through the narrow alleys for sightseeing and taking photos of the old laterite brick houses makes up the special feature and unique for the village.
• We take a walk to the nearby Mia Pagoda (another hamlet of Duong Lam), built in the 15th century, some 287 statues of all sizes can be seen here, among which are famous sculptures such as the statue of Buddha and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities.
• Next, we take a visit to the nearby Phung Hung temple & Ngo Quyen Mausoleum dedicated to two great national heroes who drove away foreign enemies and regained the independence for Vietnam.

• Begin the new day with breakfast in the restaurant
• Pick up at 07:30 from your hotel to travel to Halong Bay ( distance 160km, a stop for a break time on halfway for a refreshment ).
• You enjoy the drive and sightseeing the peaceful countryside scenery during the bus trip ( 4 hours ), we arrive at the at Ha Long bay seaport at around noon time
• At 12.00 noon, you aboard the cruise, check-in & enjoy a welcome drink while your cabin will be assigned.
• Check-in your cabin and put your luggage in, relax and may do a short inspection tour by moving around the cruise to discover about the cruise’s architecture & design
• Relax, sightseeing and taking photographs before lunch is served.

• In the afternoon, we take a visit to the Cham Museum to learn about the Cham people’s history, culture, and especially architecture and sculpture with stones, temples and towers, these are truly magnificent & unique artworks of a people who once found and developed a very brilliantly Empire and civilization from about the 4th until the 13th centuries and in the land where present-day is the central part of Vietnam

• In the afternoon, we a visit the Marble mountain which is a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, and named after the 5 essential elements including metal, wood, water, fire and earth.  Marble Mountains are a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels , and temples all just waiting to be discovered.

After breakfast, tour guide and private car to pick up for tour to explore the countryside in Hoi An and take part in the local activities as fishing, biking, farming and cooking class. This day itinerary as following:

• You will be picked up by local tour guides at the hotel.
• You will be driven to Hoi An Market (around half an hour), you can feel the bustle of the morning market, have an opportunity to have a direct contact with sellers. You might also learn some tips of “bargaining” when going shopping. Our tour guides will introduce to you the necessary ingredients for cooking classes.
• Then you will have a sightseeing tour along the Thu Bon River and Cua Dai beach by boat. On the river, you have a chance to contemplate the river beauty in the countryside of Vietnam, the traditional way of catching fish as well as the lives of the hospitable fishermen here.

Hoi An was the busiest purchasing centre and a port in the past of Chinese, Japanese… so it still has many kinds of old houses brings architecture of these country nowadays. An ancient town is known as the hidden charm. Visit the Tan Ky old house, Japanese bridge, Hoi Quan Phuc Kien pagoda then return to hotel.

• Morning visit to Cai Rang Floating Market: After an early breakfast this morning depart by road to a nearby dock, and board a sampan boat to explore Cai Rang, the largest floating market on the Mekong. The seemingly chaotic gathering is mostly large boats wholesaling vegetables and fruit, but there are also local traders selling groceries to the larger boats. Weave around the vessels and observe the frenzied trading. The morning tour continues with a trip along the small canals, through local villages, to a fruit orchard garden. Then return to the hotel for lunch.
• Private transfer: This afternoon you will return to Ho Chi Minh City. This is a journey of around three hours, and on arrival you will check in to your hotel then evening time to discover Saigon (HCM) at night by yourself.
