22:30: Pick up at the meeting point. After making sure everyone is settled, we board the sleeper bus, a comfortable mobile pod that will take us to Sapa.
As we roll through the quiet streets of Hanoi and towards the mountains, I love sharing stories about the region we’re about to explore. You’ll drift off to sleep listening to tales of Nhiu Co San Peak, imagining its twin peaks piercing the sky.
04:30: And we have just arrived in Sapa, so crisp mountain air. We just freshened ourselves up and headed out for breakfast in a local restaurant, preparing to start our trek.
06:00: A van takes us on a scenic 2-hour ride to Den Sang Village, where our adventure officially begins. The journey winds through lush valleys and terraced fields—a teaser of the beauty awaiting us.
08:30: We leave the hustle and bustle behind and step into nature’s arms. As we walk, I point out native plants and wildlife. Every twist and turn brings new sights, and we pause often to marvel at the views.
12:00: Just in time for lunch, we arrive at Ong Chua Waterfall. Its cascading waters sparkle in the sunlight, and you’ll have plenty of time to snap photos and recharge with a packed meal.
16:30: As the sun begins to dip, we reach our base camp, a cozy sanctuary surrounded by towering trees. While our porters prepare a hearty dinner, you can relax, stretch, or explore the nearby trails.
18:30: Dinner time sets with the starlight sky by your side, thereafter, engage each other in laughing stories before seeking to sleep peacefully within your respective tent.

04:00: A chilly morning wake-up, but trust me, it’s worth it. Armed with headlamps and warm layers, we begin our summit push.
06:30: After climbing the mountain, I was finally there at the top of Nhiu Co San Peak – 2,965 meters from where I could witness sunrise. The color of the sky is a mixture of gold and pink colors; the sea of clouds below gives you an experience feeling that you are on top of the world. Now is the moment to cherish your good time—breathe it in, capture it, and remember it forever.
08:30: We return to base camp for a hot breakfast. Then we pack up and begin our descent.
12:00: We pause for a light lunch amidst nature before continuing downhill.
14:30: Back in Den Sang Village, you have the option to extend the adventure with a visit to Y Ty Village.
17:00: Back in Sapa, it’s time to relax. Indulge in a Dao herbal bath, letting the warmth of the herbs soothe your tired muscles.
19:00: We gather for a celebratory dinner at a local restaurant. The highlight? A steaming lau ca tam (sturgeon hot pot) paired with a glass of ruou tao meo (apple wine). Cheers to conquering the peak!

22:00 (Day 3): After dinner, we board our sleeper bus for the journey back to Hanoi. The bus ride is a perfect time to reminisce about the adventure and exchange photos.
