Overview
In the summer, going to Ha Giang along the Minh Ngoc – Du Gia – Mau Due route, those who love to explore and are adventurous will enjoy many new things besides the bends or rocky mountains.
In the summer, the scenery of Du Gia limestone mountains is covered with green vegetation, making everything more vivid than ever. The sparse but small villages nestled on the mountainside further adorn this natural picture.
How far from Ha Giang Town?
From Ha Giang city to Minh Ngoc (Bac Me district) and then to Du Gia (Yen Minh district) is about 70 km long, is a mountain pass but the road surface is good. Visitors should go early, come here to have breakfast and attend the Du Gia market (the largest meeting every Friday morning). Not too big, but this is a wild market in the highlands.
How to discover?
Leaving the center of Du Gia towards Lung Ho is a steep pass and the spectacular Nam Lang canyon. The scenery here can be compared to Ma Pi Leng pass and the second Tu San canyon of the rocky plateau with many unique views.
From here the road is more difficult, lots of trails and rocky slopes. Win cars are the optimal choice for moving people.
Ngam La slope to Mau Due is a famous dangerous road that is known to each other with steep slopes, but it is home to many of the most spectacular terraced fields on the rocky plateau.
Time to be impressed by nature?
April and May is the beginning of the rainy season, which is also the time when the terraced fields at Mau Due accumulate water, forming a typical scene that tourists still call “the pouring season". The surface of the field is glistening with water reflecting the sun, interspersed with transplanted green fields or even red soil to create a colorful picture.
Natural Source:
Abundant water resources, richer land, so the Dao villages here are very crowded. All are located precariously between the mountains and hills, if you have a lot of time, try to experience visiting this place.
Lung Ha valley:
Lung Ho is a small valley nestled between majestic rocky mountains. All is covered by a green space, fierce winds make each layer of leaves flutter non-stop. It is very rare that the black cat-eared rocky mountains here are overwhelmed by the green of the trees like this time.
Ha Giang Discovery: 8 days
