Major repair work on the market was carried out in 1989, and it was almost equipped with a new face and features to turn into a modern commercial center with an area of 28,000 square meters. Two spacious floors — which speak volumes of economic transformation — today the majority of stalls are in Han Market, in Da Nang. Han Market is conveniently located in Da Nang, 119 Tran Phu, Hai Chau District. It is located near the famous landmarks of the Han River Bridge and Dragon Bridge, making it easy to access. Means of access to the market are plentiful and diverse: by taxi, motorbike taxi, or public transport. How to Han Market: From Dragon Bridge, it is just 1.9 km away and a scenic 20-minute walk away. Just walk across the bridge, and turn right onto Bach Dang Street. Then turn left onto Nguyen Thai Hoc, and there you are at the lively entrance of Han Market.
