Overview: Dau Dang Waterfall was formed from the Nang River, about 16km from the center of Cho Ra town, Bac Kan. Water flows under Lung Nham limestone mountain and forms Puong cave. When flowing to Hua Tang village in Nam Mau commune, they encountered hundreds of large and small rocks blocking them. The terrain in this position has a slope of about 500m, thus creating the majestic and impressive Dau Dang waterfall today.
How is the Dau Dang Waterfall? The entire water of the waterfall pours down the alley of the Nang River, threading through large stacked limestone rocks. Therefore, the waterfall is divided into 3 sections: In the first section, the water from above is very strong and quite crooked. The second section of the stream was split into two. The third section flows more smoothly, creating a dreamy beauty that attracts tourists to join the Ba Be Lake tour.
Not only famous for tourism, but the Dau Dang waterfall also has great significance for local agriculture. Every year, the water flow brings a large amount of alluvium from upstream to help the fields and trees become greener.
The wild beauty of Dau Dang waterfall: As one of the famous landscapes here, Dau Dang waterfall always has a strange attraction for visitors to Ba Be Lake tour from Hanoi. The image of a waterfall pouring from above after colliding with rocks created a rumbling sound that echoed far away. Even standing a few kilometers away, you can still hear it clearly. So, on the way to the waterfall, hearing the sound of the flow, you partly imagined the grandeur of this place.
What to see around the waterfall? Standing and watching from below the waterfall, the water splashes white foam creating a beautiful sparkling image. Especially on a beautiful day, the sunlight shines down, making the water bubbles sparkle like a diamond hidden under the waterfall. The beauty is a bit wild, a little fanciful, making tourists in Bac Kan not help but bewildered.
Surrounding the waterfall are vast, green forests, so the climate is very fresh. Trees crept up between the rocky mountains creating an incredible vitality that you can’t see anywhere. To keep the beautiful memories together with this place, visitors can stand on the cliffs to take pictures. In addition, there is a wooden corridor built for tourism that is very solid right above the water. This will be a virtual living place that covers the whole scene for you.
