Villages:
The commune is located in the buffer zone of Hoang Lien National Park, leaning against the Hoang Lien range, the nearest village is 2 km from Sa Pa town (Cat Cat village). Including 05 villages (Cat Cat, Sin Chai A, Sin Chai B, Y Linh Ho 1 and Y Linh Ho 2) with over 3,000 members of more than 690 Hmong households.
Name of San Ho:
According to the people here, San Sa Ho means “three streams of water converge. One upstream from Thac Bac flows down to Cat Cat hydroelectricity, meets the second stream at Suoi Vang on Hoang Lien mountain range and flows down to the third stream in Phin Ho. The third line placed by the French is Cat Cat, which means waterfall falling from above.
O Quy Ho:
San Sa Ho is famous for its O Quy Ho pass – which is the craggy, majestic and highest and longest pass in the Northwest of Vietnam. Located on Highway 4D, crossing the Hoang Lien range and connecting the two provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. The pass is also called Hoang Lien Son because it crosses the majestic Hoang Lien range; Cloud pass because it is covered by clouds all year round, even in summer.
Lovely Trekking area:
This place also attracts tourists by villages such as Cat Cat, Sin Chai or Y Linh Ho, which are inhabited by the H’mong people with houses scattered around the mountainside, surrounded by terraced fields and mountains. The stream flows day and night. With the unique national culture through dance, trumpet, singing and traditional costumes, San Sa Ho is an ideal community tourism place for those who are short on time when coming to Sa Pa.

We went on a private trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, the whole trip plan was organized for us by the Impress Travel Company from Vietnam, the company did an amazing job, the whole trip was organized in a wonderful way with an amazing match between the various parties, their choices were correct and the quality of the hotels chosen were very high quality and it is important to note that the price was low in comparison To other agencies, thanks to Impress Travel and especially to Daniel who was tolerant and open to changes and organized the route for us.
Impress travel were amazing. Did my bookings with Daniel for our tour of Vietnam and I must say Daniel was very professional and prompt with his services. All the arrangement, plans, pick-up & drop-off services, hotels, vehicles, sightseeing tours and guides were spot on and excellent. Did 4 nights Hanoi, 1 night Hà Long Bay cruise, 3 nights Hoian, 4 nights Saigon and 1 night in Can Tho. It was totally awesome. Every part of the journey was superbly arranged and planned. Great value for money with 4 stars hotel accommodation for 4 couples. The tour guide has been very helpful and brought us to amazing places in Sapa.
