Arrive at least 30–45 minutes before leaving time, especially during weekends or holidays. Train Station Nha Trang, located at 17 Thai Nguyen, gets filled in a jiffy, and boarding gates are only indicated a little while before the train arrives. Don’t waste your time, and save some for yourself to find your platform, check your seat number, and visit the toilets.
Train Station Nha Trang has no porters or trolleys, so pack light or use a backpack. You’re responsible for carrying your bags up the steps and into the carriage.
Platform access is 10–15 minutes before departure. Listen to announcements — there are no electronic display boards at this Vietnamese station.
