The Natural Beauty of Thanh Binh Beach

Thanh Binh Beach in Danang

Thanh Binh Beach in Danang

Thanh Binh Beach in Danang is known for its unspoiled and pristine nature. The beach is about 1 kilometer long, and the white sandy seashore gently descends into the clear turquoise sea. Not far away from the shore, the water is calm and shallow. Favorable conditions for swimming make it possible to enjoy and relax in the sea. In addition, the beach is surrounded by rich greenery and mountains of the Hai Van Pass. For those who are fond of taking photos, this is the perfect place; however, the views of the mountains and ocean differ substantially from the sceneries on the beaches like My Khe and Non-Nuoc.

The beach’s bay is sheltered from strong winds and ocean waves so that the sea is calm and safe. The beautiful views of Thanh Binh involve rows of casuarina trees and sea morning glory. This beach differs from My Khe and Non Nuoc due to the bay’s protection from strong winds and waves. In addition, while the other beaches are overcrowded and offer many options for entertainment, Thanh Binh is an area of rest, calm, and absence of people. In contrast, other beaches are associated with a noisy nightlife and time for discos. For those interested in watersports, nearby My Khe is the best place for it.

  • What to pack: To have a great time at Thanh Binh Beach, sun cream, hats, and sunglasses are a must as the conditions can be quite harsh. A beach mat or a towel should be considered as well to refresh during the hottest time of the day. The water is great, so going for a swim is inevitable, and, therefore, swimwear and a spare change of clothes should not be forgotten at home.
  • Safety: The designated swimming areas and the levels of danger and warning are indicated by the color of the flags, so one should follow the guidance. In addition, lifeguard guidelines and flags should be adhered to at all times. Swimming should not be done too far away from the coast and within the dangerous zones during the high tides.
