History:
According to information about the Southern Women’s Museum, the museum was formerly the residence of Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Loan – Director of the General Police Department of the Republic of Vietnam regime. Then, on April 29, 1985, this place was transformed into the Traditional Southern Women’s House with an area of 200m2, including 6 galleries.
However, the above modest area will be difficult to convey the entire content and typical activities of women in the South through the nation’s journeys of nation building and defense.
