Nguom Ngao Cave – A place considered a masterpiece of nature bestowed on Cao Bang, always attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. What is so special about this cave that visitors to Ban Gioc Waterfall can experience?

Location: Located in the majestic mountain of Gun village, Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang, Nguom Ngao cave is about 3km from Ban Gioc Waterfall.

History: This cave has a history of formation about 300 million years ago. Because of the discovery and put into operation of tourism not long ago, Nguom Ngao still retains its original wild beauty.

Nguom Ngao means: Nguom Ngao in the Tay language means Tiger cave. Visitors will be told many stories by locals about the name of the cave.

Way to Nguom Ngao Cave: According to the Ban Gioc waterfall tour to reach the Nguom Ngao cave, visitors will have to go through many high and dangerous roads. However, this road always makes backpackers feel excited.

Nguom Ngao cave discovery: The length of the cave is up to 2144 meters, there are 3 main entrances with the names for each door in turn:

Nguom Ngao Gate is about a few hundred steps from the foot of the mountain.
Nguom Lom Gate is cool all year round and is hidden under the rock mass at the foot of the mountain.
Ban Thuon Gate is located behind the mountain, next to the Thuong village of the Tay ethnic group.

Day 01

HANOI – DRIVE TO CAO BANG – OVERNIGHT IN CAO BANG ( L/ D )

Breakfast at hotel, check out the hotel in Hanoi
09:00 Am: Depart from Hanoi to Cao Bang, you enjoy sightseeing the natural landscape of the midland then highland from the bus during the drive and we will flexibly making stopovers for relaxing and taking
photographs. You will have chances to view unique and wild beauties of mountainous area, green rice terrace and meet the ethnic minority along the way with their colorful traditional costume
You will have lunch at the local restaurant on the way (local foods only).
After the lunch, we keep driving on the adventurous way to Cao Bang,
On arrival, Cao Bang city, check-in the hotel in Cao Bang
You will have dinner at a local restaurant

Day 02

CAO BANG – BAN GIOC – CAO BANG( B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, Driving up to visit Ban Gioc waterfalls – the biggest waterfall in Vietnam however it is not full water in the dry season, This area is the highest and most spectacular in the area in China and Vietnam border.
Enjoy an imposing scene of Ban Gioc waterfalls. Visit Nguom Ngao Cave. then returning to Cao Bang
Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 03

CAO BANG– BA BE LAKE( B, L, D)

Getting started at 8 Am from Hotel in Cao Bang. Taking adventurous ways to Ba Be lake about 2.5 hours.
Then we will take about a 2 hours walk on flat road through Ba Be national park to Pac Ngoi village.
We have a picnic lunch on the way. After arriving at our homestay in Pac Ngoi village of Tay people, we will have free time to walk around and meet the Tay people
Dinner and homestay with Tay people in Pac Ngoi village.

Day 04

HANOI CITY CENTER TO NOI BAI AIRPORT – DEPARTURE (B)

After Breakfast, tour today leave at 07:30 am for the Harbor, we will spend half-day visiting the beauty of Ba Be Lakes, we take our canoe navigating into the tranquility of Ba Be Lakes and be witness to all of its majesties, if you wish to, the
Cruise tour can include a swim before we head back to harbor,
Back to Pac Ngoi Village for lunch
13:00, We take a drive from Pac Ngoi directly to Hanoi
On arrival in Hanoi city, re-check in the Hotel & free time
Your arrangement for dinner on own payment
Free time & Overnight at hotel in Hanoi city
