Ngoc Ha Temple: A Historical Landmark
Ngoc Ha Temple is one of the treasured cultural and architectural heritage buildings of Hanoi, built during the Le Trung Hung Dynasty. This temple, after getting damaged in wartime, was fondly restored to testify to the resilience of the people and continues to be the most sought-after place in Hanoi Folk Tours. Associated with the legendary Huyen Thien Hac De, who helped protect the nation in the Ly Dynasty era, the temple is somehow both a spiritual haven and a living testament to Hanoi’s rich history, as part of one of its main attractions during Hanoi Tours.
Cultural and Architectural Significance
More than a religious center, Ngoc Ha Temple is one of the most vivid representations of popular folklore, which fills Hanoi’s folk culture to the brim, especially during the Ngoc Ha Village Festival which is held yearly using traditional rituals and music. The main features that speak volumes about it include Vietnam: ornate gates, the main sanctuary,Phuong Dinh pavilion, hoanh phi plaques. The serenity of an inner courtyard, with huge trees and clear jade-like water, secures this tranquil oasis of a city in the hearts of visitors on time during Hanoi Folk Tours and connects deeply with the spirit of timeless Hanoi.
