06:00 – Hotel Pickup and Transfer to Da Nang Railway Station
Our driver and guide will take you from your hotel in Da Nang and transfer you to Da Nang Railway Station. After receiving your ticket and completing the boarding procedures, settle into your soft seat aboard the heritage train.
07:05 – Scenic Heritage Train Journey
You will depart Da Nang aboard train HD2 and begin one of Vietnam’s most beautiful railway journeys. As the train winds along the mountainside, enjoy magnificent views of the East Sea, forested slopes and dramatic coastline through Hai Van Pass.
The slow-paced train journey offers excellent opportunities to photograph the landscapes separating Da Nang and Hue.
09:05 – Lang Co Bay and Local Craft Experiences
Arriving at Lang Co Railway Station, where our local driver and guide will be waiting. You will continue traveling to Lang Co Bay, renowned for its long sandy beach, turquoise water and mountain backdrop.
Next, you will visit a local pearl-cultivation workshop to learn how pearls are raised, harvested and crafted into jewellery. You will also discover the traditional production of cajeput essential oil, a well-known local product widely used by families in Central Vietnam.
Late Morning – Khai Dinh Tomb
Then, you will travel onward to Khai Dinh Tomb, the final resting place of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Although smaller than many other royal tombs in Hue, the monument is celebrated for its elaborate decoration and remarkable combination of Vietnamese, Chinese and European architectural influences.
Climbing the ceremonial staircase, admire the stone mandarin statues and enter Thien Dinh Palace, where colourful glass and porcelain mosaics cover the walls and ceilings.
12:00 – Lunch in Hue
You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring selected Hue specialities and traditional Vietnamese dishes.
13:00 – Hue Imperial City
After lunch, you will explore the UNESCO-listed Complex of Hue Monuments, once the political and ceremonial centre of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945.
You will enter through the impressive Ngo Mon Gate and discover some of the citadel’s most important landmarks, including Thai Hoa Palace, the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Ancestral Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, Dien Tho Residence and Truong Sanh Residence.
In addition, your guide will introduce the history of Vietnam’s final royal dynasty and explain the symbolic principles behind the citadel’s architecture and layout.
15:00 – Thien Mu Pagoda
You will continue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s oldest and most recognisable religious monuments. Founded in the early 17th century, the pagoda occupies a peaceful hilltop position overlooking the Perfume River.
Here, you will admire the seven-storey Phuoc Duyen Tower, visit Dai Hung Shrine and learn about the pagoda’s spiritual and historical importance.
16:00 – Hue Speciality Stop
Before leaving Hue, you will stop at a local speciality centre where you may sample regional sweets, tea and traditional royal-style beverages. There will also be time to purchase local products as souvenirs if desired.
16:30 – Return to Da Nang
You will depart Hue and travel back to Da Nang by air-conditioned vehicle.
Approximately 18:30 – Hotel Arrival
Arrive at your hotel in Da Nang. Check in and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Overnight in Da Nang.
Morning – Breakfast and Leisure Time
You will enjoy the breakfast at your hotel. The remainder of the morning is free for you to relax, explore Da Nang independently or spend time at the beach.
13:30–14:00 – Hotel Pickup
Then, you will meet our guide in the hotel lobby and begin the second day of your Central Vietnam heritage journey.
Marble Mountains
Visiting the Marble Mountains, a sacred group of five limestone and marble hills representing the five traditional elements: metal, wood, water, fire and earth.
Besides, you also explore ancient pagodas, hidden caves and Buddhist sanctuaries set within the mountains. Subject to weather and accessibility conditions, you may also visit a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas over Da Nang and the surrounding coastline.
The optional elevator fee is not included.
Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village
At the foot of the Marble Mountains, you will visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where generations of artisans have maintained the area’s traditional sculpting techniques.
Moreover, you also observe intricately carved statues, decorative objects and religious artworks while learning about the history of this long-established craft community.
16:00 – Bay Mau Coconut Forest
Next, you will continue to visit Bay Mau Coconut Forest near Hoi An. Often described as a miniature Mekong Delta in Central Vietnam, this ecological area is characterised by peaceful waterways and dense nipa palm groves.
Boarding a traditional round basket boat and travel through the narrow coconut-lined channels. Depending on local conditions, the experience may include:
A basket-boat rowing excursion through the nipa palm forest
Traditional cast-net fishing demonstrations
An energetic basket-boat spinning performance
Local songs, games or light entertainment on the river
For Clients who prefer a gentler experience may request a calm basket-boat ride without the spinning activity.
17:30 – Transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town
Leaving the coconut forest and continue to Hoi An, a historic trading port that flourished between the 16th and 19th centuries.
18:00 – Hoi An Speciality Dinner
Especially, you will have a chane to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with a selection of regional favourites, which may include Hoi An chicken rice, cao lau noodles, Quang noodles or wontons.
Evening – Explore Hoi An by Night
After having dinner, you will take a guided walk through the UNESCO-listed ancient town. Admire its yellow-walled merchant houses, traditional assembly halls, narrow lanes and colourful lanterns reflected on the Hoai River.
And you will have free time to browse local shops, listen to a traditional Bai Choi performance or enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the riverside.
An optional boat ride and flower-lantern release on the Hoai River are available at your own expense.
20:30–21:00 – Return to Da Nang
You will meet our guide and driver at the designated location before travelling back to Da Nang.
