How to Avoid Common Scams

Check the Meter: Make sure it starts from zero. If a driver quotes you a flat rate without turning on the meter, chances are it’s an inflated fare.
Be Careful of Unlicensed Taxis: You should take only cabs that are licensed. Unlicensed taxis might be a little cheap, but they charge a lot in hidden costs and might not be safe.
Get Receipts: Insist on a receipt always. This would at times come in handy in case one forgets something or has any complaints to be made.
Importance of Confirming the Fare in Advance

Avoid Overcharge: You agree on the cost before the start of your trip, so you will never risk being overcharged.
Budgeting: The exact fare helps you to plan just how much to set aside for the journey.
Peace of Mind: Confirmation before entering ensures peace of mind, so you may go on enjoying the journey without worrying about any unexpected costs.
Tips for a Safe and Comfortable Journey
Your safety and comfort are paramount. Here are some tips to ensure a comfortable journey for you.
Share the ride details with your friend or relative: Let your friend or family member know which taxi you board, mentioning the registration number and the approximate arrival time.
