Getting started at 08:30 AM from your hotel, transferring to Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, which is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo, and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is an odd mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity. After visiting Cao Dai temple & special ceremony and then having lunch ( by your own payment ) before leaving Tay Ninh province to Cu Chi tunnels.
In the afternoon, we will take a visit to Cu Chi tunnels, first to watching a short documentary film showing how the tunnels were created and byways, then spend the next 2 hours exploring the maze of tunnels, this is a network of 250 km long underground dug-out which was being used during the Vietnam – USA war, for those interested there's even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47, M16 or Garand guns at the nearby rifle range (on your own expense), back to Ho Chi Minh city center,
Arrive at your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh city at about 17:00, the tour finished, thank you & see you again!
