Ho Chi Minh & Vung Tau Beach Tour: 2 Days
Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Beginning the journey with a sightseeing tour through the historic city centre, where French colonial architecture stands alongside modern urban landmarks.
Next, you will visit or view some of the city’s most recognisable attractions, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Central Post Office, and the Independence Palace. Your guide will introduce the history of these important buildings and explain how Ho Chi Minh City developed from colonial Saigon into Vietnam’s vibrant southern metropolis. After the city tour, you will leave Ho Chi Minh City and travel approximately two to two and a half hours to Vung Tau.
Upon arriving in Vung Tau, you will enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Then, you will visit the White Palace, also known as Bach Dinh. Built on the slopes of Big Mountain, this elegant former retreat features European architecture, historical displays, and beautiful views over the coastline.
Moreover, you will have a chance to visit Christ Hill, home to the impressive Christ the King Statue. Then, you will continue to visit Thang Tam Temple and the Whale Temple, an important spiritual site associated with Vung Tau’s traditional fishing community.
