08:30 – 11:00 | Trekking to Vang Ngoa Waterfall
From the village, we hike through the virgin forest paths of the primary forest, amongst the limestone cliffs and rare plants. The noise of rushing water leads us to the base of Vang Ngon Waterfall, which crashes into a jade pool below.
11:30 – 13:00 | Picnic by the waterfall
Eat a tranquil picnic lunch under the trees near the falls, grilled chicken, sticky rice in bamboo, local greens, and fresh fruit. Stop and breathe in the highland air and dip your feet into the cool waters.
13:00 – 15:30 | Visit to a Hmong village
We’ll walk back through the valley to explore a small Hmong community nearby, with a chance to see traditional hand-weaving, corn wine making, and daily life. 10:00 – 11:30 | Boat ride on Nho Que River
We walk down to the riverbank and go aboard a wooden boat, silently gliding into the Tu San Canyon, which at 1.9 km is the deepest canyon in Vietnam. The emerald water, the towering cliffs, and the isolation feel like a moment of wonder that few will ever experience.
12:00 – 13:30 | Lunch in Dong Van Old Quarter
On land, we explore the Dong Van Old Quarter, where Hmong, French, and Chinese influences mix in architecture and food. Kick back for a leisurely lunch in one of the traditional courtyard homes.

After lunch, we drive back to Ha Giang City, we will finish a loop by an easy ride back to Ha Giang City on a beautiful way in the late afternoon. Overnight and continue returning to Hanoi, according to the program.
