Margaret Cruises includes various itineraries designed to maximize the amount of time travelers spend here. There are numerous activities you can join during the trip, including kayaking, cave visiting, swimming, quid fishing, especially cooking class from which you will learn how to make Vietnamese traditional food.

Tours Itinerary

Day 01

Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/D)

10: 30 – 11: 00 Stopover for refreshment at Pearl store, pearl breeding place about 20 – 30 minutes.
11: 30 – 12: 00 Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor. This island just far 2km from the mainland. There is an excellent opportunity to sightseeing sandy beaches for swimming, kayaking or just relaxing and the whole experience was unforgettable.
12: 00 – 12: 30 Transfer to Margaret Cruises. Check-in your cabin
13: 00 Enjoy a buffet lunch at our restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay
(In case of fewer than 20 people, we will serve set menu)
15: 00 – 16: 45 Continue to explore Halong by visiting Pearl Farm village. Here, you can witness the process of making pearl, buy products from pure pearl, participate in kayaking, a must-try sports activity in Halong.
After that, visit Titop Island. The island itself is the name after Gherman Stepanovich Titov, who was a famous Russian cosmonaut. There is a statue dedicated to him on the island. The island was named Titop instead of Titov due to the translation to Vietnamese. After passing the statue of Titov, there is a place to purchase refreshments and access to the beach with a few chairs for those that want to relax on the beach. Here, you will have time to climb up to the peak of Titov Island, see panorama view of Halong Bay from the observation deck or swim, take pictures, play on the sea.
18:00 Enjoy Sun Set party with fruits and snacks on Margaret Sky Bar.This time is regarded as “Happy Hour” – “buy two get one” while our cruise is sailing to the overnight anchorage.
Massage service is available.
18: 30 Join cooking demonstration: How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food.
19: 30 Enjoy European set-menu dinner on the restaurant on-board.
21: 00 You may also try your luck with squid fishing. Free time on the boat.

Note: If guests do not stay at the hotel, our car will pick up at Hanoi Opera House – the final pickup point.

Day 02

Halong Discovery - Hanoi (B,L)

Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
6: 30 – 7: 00: Have breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong Bay.
7: 30 Visit Sung Sot cave – the most beautiful one on Halong Bay.
Situated in the center of the Ha Long Bay, the Sung Sot or Surprise Grotto is karst category cave in the limestone mountain. You must climb the approximately 50 stairs that rise high above the bay. The ceiling of the cave has unique, swirling patterns from the water that created the large caverns hundreds of years earlier. That beautiful make you wonder how many years needed for nature to make all these perfect formations of limestone, stalactites, and stalagmites. You should wear sneakers to facilitate climbing.
9: 30 Check – out time at the reception on the yacht.
10: 30 Enjoy buffet brunch while the cruise transfer to the Tuan Chau Wharf
11: 00 – 11:30 Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf
12: 00: Only 1 option will be chosen depending on the weather conditions and seasons:
Option 1:
13: 00 Transfer to Gia Luan whaft by ferry
15: 30 Move to hotel by bus.
After checking in hotel, free time to explore Cat Ba Island. This island is the largest island in Ha Long Bay
19: 00 Dinner served at restaurant
Overnight at hotel
Option 2:
Transfer to Ben Beo whaft by ferry
Move to Monkey Island by tender/ day boat. It also known as well as the most majestic beach of Lan Ha Bay with clear water and fresh air.
Some activities: swimming, kayaking, taking photos and relaxing

Day 03

Halong Discovery - Back Hanoi (B, L)

7: 00 Light breakfast is served and check out
8: 30 Transfer to Tuan Chau Whaft
10: 30 Lunch served on day boat
11: 30 Disembark by the boat.
12: 00 – 15:00 Return to Ha Noi. End of the trip
