Detailed Itinerary

Day: 01

DAY 1: WELCOME - HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to Hanoi, Impress Travel Team will be await for you at Noi Bai Airport, your welcome sign name to recognize  where is Impressers then transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day: 02

DAY 2: HANOI – BA VI ECO TOUR (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel then our experienced English-speaking guide escorts you on the trip to Ba Vi, a countryside located on the outskirt of Hanoi.

Arrive at Ri village, enjoy the welcome drink and snacks and meet your first host – Mr. Duoc, who is a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner. Listen to the stories of Mr. Duoc’s life during the war while enjoying the drink and then visit his tea plantation. You will learn how to pick the best tea leaves to make the most wonderful beverage in Vietnam. Carry on with the tea production at his small workshop, where most of the work is manual.

Then have a short drive to Moc village, where you will meet your next host Mrs. Chin, who will teach you how to cook local Vietnamese dishes. Later have the meals you made for lunch in a beautiful tropical garden.

Have a short break after lunch, and join Mrs. Chin for a walk around the village. You will visit some local families to understand the rural lifestyle and learn how tofu, conical hats, and other local products are made. Then have a cycling trip through beautiful paddy fields.

Wrap up your countryside tour with traditional feet soak in warm water with herbs, following the traditional recipes of the Muong ethnic minority. It will relax you (and your feet) after cycling around the village. Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi back to your accommodation.

Day: 03

DAY 3: HANOI – HA LONG BAY – OVERNIGHT IN CRUISE (B, L, D)

After breakfast, embark on the scenic drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its breathtaking limestone islands and emerald waters.

Board your cruise junk and indulge in a gourmet seafood lunch as you sail through this natural wonderland. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands. Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and maybe take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting).

Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

Day: 04

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B, BR)

Wake to a tranquil morning with a Tai Chi session or simply savor the sunrise from the deck with a cup of tea or coffee.

Explore nearby islands by rowboat and marvel at Halong Bay’s surreal landscapes.

After brunch, return to Hanoi and settle back into your hotel.

Day: 05

DAY 5: HANOI – NINH BINH – HOA LU – TAM COC (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam together with seeing the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel around 7:30-8:00 am and depart to Ninh Binh province. The first destination to visit is Hoa Lu ancient capital. Here you will explore the outstanding architecture of King Dinh and King Le temples, the first emperors of ancient Vietnam. Then move to Tam Coc wharf, where you will have lunch with Vietnamese food. And then board the rowing boat and cruise along the river through the limestone caves. After the boat trip, you will take a cycling trip around the idyllic village through the rice fields to explore the surrounding sceneries. Then come back to the shuttle bus to return to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day: 06

DAY 6: HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (B)

Relish the remaining moment in Hanoi before your private driver escorts you to the airport to take the flight to Hue. When you arrive at Hue Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in the city centre. The rest of the time is free at leisure.

Day: 07

DAY 7: HUE CITY TOUR (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

Hue City is the cultural, political, and economic center of the Thua Thien Hue province, and used to be an old imperial city of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty. During this time, the most remarkable architectural monuments were constructed, which now are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Your guide will meet you at your hotel around 8:00-8:30 am. Start your exploration with the boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu pagoda, which is the oldest pagodas in Hue. Then visit the Imperial Citadel, where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Here you will also visit the Royal Antiques Museum to see the collection of ornaments from the Nguyen dynasty. Then head to the bustling Dong Ba market. Have delicious Vietnamese lunch. In the afternoon, we will head to Khai Dinh’s Tomb, which combines traditional Vietnamese style with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. Then explore Minh Mang’s Tomb, which represents the Confucian style. On the way, you will also visit conical hats and incense sticks villages. You will be back at your hotel around 16:00-17:00.

DAY 8: HUE - TRANSFER TO HOIAN (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the transfer from Hue to Hoi An by private car. You will drive through one of the most beautiful roads in the world – Hai Van Pass. You will be blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and the sea. Upon arrival in Hoi An check in at the hotel and have free time to explore the surrounding area.

DAY 9: HOIAN COOKING CLASS (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

You will be guided around the many live food counters in this unique first-of-its-kind interactive dining venue in Vietnam. Here you can see, smell, hear, taste, touch, and interact with many different food-making processes. You can try samples from over 10 different food counters including “Banh Mi”, dumplings, pickles, weird & wonderful foods, our rationing foods in Vietnam that were in place for 45 years, and many more. You can see rice paper being made from ground rice and water, laid out to dry on bamboo, and then later roasted for rice crackers to eat with Hoi An chili sauce and salads, and various shapes and sizes of rice noodles. Experience our famous local noodle dish Cao, Lau, see the noodles rolled out by hand and cut traditionally with a long knife and then steamed over an open fire. You may participate in many of the street food counters cutting noodles, making rice paper and wontons, using the bun noodle machine, and more. You then make 4 different recipes at our street food counters. We then sit down to eat what we have cooked. You will receive a copy of the recipes and a Vietnamese cooking gift to take home.

DAY 10: HOIAN– FREE DAY (B)

Today you will have free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace, seeing what interests you. This ancient town is full of Japanese merchant houses and pagodas, temples, and antique warehouses. Or just lounge about in a laid-back riverside café on the bank of the Thu Bon river.

DAY 11: HOI AN – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

Then you will be transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day: 12

DAY 12: HCM CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B, L, D) – GROUP TOUR

Depart from Ho Chi Minh and head to Mekong Delta, the land of nine dragons. Upon arrival at Cai Be, you will board the boat and explore Cai Be floating market, where local farmers sell their goods right from the boat. Then visit Com candy craft village, where you can see the production process of candy nuggets and try freshly made candies. The next destination is the bee farm for a cup of honey tea. Then take a boat cruise to Tan Phong Island to visit local orchards and Uncle 5 On’s house to enjoy the garden folk music. Have a cup of tea with the fruits here while listening to music. From here, head to your resort to have lunch and some rest. Around 4 p.m., you can join the activities organized by the resort by picking vegetables and slapping the ditch to catch fish. After that, you will join our chef to cook your dinner.

DAY 13: CAI BE - HCM CITY (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

After breakfast, you take a cycling trip around Tan Phong Island to understand more about the daily life of the people on the island. On the way, enjoy the freshly picked fruits. Then return to the resort and learn how to make Jackfruit leaf cake, which you will taste after. Around 11:30 am. check out your room and take the ferry to the pier, where our driver will meet you and transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh.

Day: 14

DAY 14: HCM CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (B, L) – GROUP TOUR

Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Cu Chi tunnels. The trip will take approximately one and a half hours drive. Upon arrival, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed, and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems, which included the living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. All this was to help people living inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerilla food during the war) will be served. Then you will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 15: HCM CITY FLIGHT TO PHNOM PENH (B)

After breakfast, enjoy some free time and maybe last minute shopping, before flying to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring this vibrant city at your leisure.

DAY 16: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (also known as S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children, and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to the extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the market has gained a reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Enjoy Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh, it bursts into 4 branches.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH - TRANSFER TO SIEM REAP BY BUS (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and then to Siem Reap by bus. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel check-in. An afternoon visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit Wat Memorial Mountain.

DAY 18: EXPLORATION OF ANGKOR TEMPLE (B)

Spend a full day exploring the mystical Angkor temples. Start with a visit to the magnificent Angkor Wat, followed by the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, beginning with the South Gate and the famous Bayon Temple. Discover the Elephant Terrace and the intricately carved Leper King Terrace. .
