Ba Be Lake is located in the north-east of Hanoi. It takes 5 hours by car from Hanoi to Ba Be Lake via Highway 3, passing Thai Nguyen province, with a distance of nearly 260 km, we reach Ba Be Lake - one of the 20 most beautiful natural freshwater lakes in the world.

Ba Be Lake is a part of Ba Be National Park, in Nam Mau commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, surrounded by two bowls of Ngan Son and Bac Son. The endowed nature, unique culture, and legends have attracted tourists from all parts of the country and international tourists to the lake. When travelers coming here to enjoy the special foods as fried fishes in the lake  & drink as rice or corn wine, to learn about the cultural, traditional, historic diversity of the ethnic minority people such as Kinh, Hmong, Tai, Nung & Thai People.
