Just being on the hillside with waves of golden rice fields at your reach under the gentle autumn sun is one scene that you will never forget.

But for a trekking-heavy adventure, you would not want to go in the rainy season, usually from May to August, when rains make the trails muddy and slippery, hence not ideal for exploring the beautiful terraced fields. Besides, the autumn months offer clear skies, something perfect for photography.
