Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day: 01

Welcome to Danang – Son Tra Peninsula – Marble Mountains

Upon arrival at Danang International Airport, you will meet our local guide and transfer to the city center. Depending on your arrival time, you will begin the journey with lunch at a local restaurant featuring popular Central Vietnamese dishes.

In the afternoon, traveling to Son Tra Peninsula, a green natural sanctuary overlooking the coastline. Then, you will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, known for its tranquil setting, traditional architecture, and towering Lady Buddha statue. From the pagoda grounds, you will enjoy sweeping views across the East Sea, Danang’s urban skyline, and the long curve of My Khe Beach.

Next, you will continue to visit the Marble Mountains, a group of limestone and marble hills associated with the five natural elements. Climbing the stone stairways or take the elevator to explore ancient pagodas, hidden grottoes, atmospheric caves, and panoramic viewpoints. Nearby, you will visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village to observe the area’s long-established sculptural tradition.

After dinner, you will enjoy an optional walk along the Han River. Depending on the evening schedule, you may see the Dragon Bridge illuminated above the waterfront.

Day: 02

Danang – Full-Day Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel approximately 30 kilometers west of Danang to Ba Na Hills, a mountain entertainment complex set high in the Truong Son Range.

Next, you will board the cable car and ascend above forested slopes, waterfalls, and drifting clouds. Upon arrival, you can walk across the celebrated Golden Bridge, an extraordinary structure appearing to rest in two enormous stone hands. Its elevated position offers impressive views of the surrounding mountains and, in clear weather, the distant coastline.

Afterward, you will continue to visit Le Jardin d’Amour flower gardens, Linh Ung Pagoda, and other scenic attractions on the mountain. After lunch, you will explore the cobbled squares, towers, and colorful buildings of the French Village. In addition, you may also enjoy selected indoor games and attractions at Fantasy Park, subject to operating conditions and ticket regulations.

You will descend by cable car in the late afternoon and return to Danang. Dinner is served at a local restaurant, followed by free time to explore the city.

Day: 03

Day 3: Danang – Hai Van Pass – Hue Imperial Heritage

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

In the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel, then leaving Danang for Hue. Traveling along the scenic coastal road and cross the magnificent Hai Van Pass, where the mountains meet the sea. Besides, you can xtop at a viewpoint to admire the landscape before continuing past Lang Co Bay and the peaceful lagoon scenery of Central Vietnam.

Arriving in Hue and enjoying lunch featuring regional specialties. In the afternoon, you visit the Imperial Citadel, the former administrative and ceremonial center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Walking through monumental gates, royal courtyards, ancestral temples, and the remains of the Forbidden Purple City. While our guide explains the history of Vietnam’s last imperial dynasty.

Then, you will continue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, an elegant seven-story pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. Founded in the early 17th century, it remains one of the most recognizable cultural and spiritual symbols of Hue.

You will check in at the hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is free for a walk along the Perfume River or through Hue’s night market.

Day: 04

Day 4: Hue – Quang Tri – Phong Nha Cave – Hue

In the morning, you will enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before departing for Quang Binh Province. Traveling north through Quang Tri, a region closely connected with Vietnam’s modern history.

Subject to time and local conditions, you will stop near the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, which marked the former provisional dividing line between North and South Vietnam. Next, you will continue traveling through the countryside toward Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. It is recognized by UNESCO for its extraordinary geology, limestone landscapes, biodiversity, and extensive cave systems.

After lunch in Phong Nha, you will board a traditional motorboat and cruise along the tranquil Son River. Here, you can observe riverside villages, fishing activities, limestone mountains, and rural life before reaching the entrance to Phong Nha Cave.

The boat’s engine is switched off as local rowers take you inside the cave. Moreover, you will admire vast chambers, underground waterways, and remarkable stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. After leaving the cave, you will return by boat to Phong Nha village.

Traveling back to Hue in the late afternoon or evening. You will have dinner at local restaurant on route or upon arrival, depending on traffic and the group’s schedule.

Day: 05

Hue Royal Tomb – Return to Danang – Departure

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and visit one of Hue’s outstanding royal mausoleums. The standard itinerary includes the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. This is an impressive hillside complex combining traditional Vietnamese design with European architectural and decorative influences. Its richly ornamented interior provides a striking contrast to the restrained exterior courtyards.

Alternatively, depending on operating arrangements and guest preferences, the tour may visit the peaceful Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang. It is known for its harmonious landscape of gardens, lakes, pavilions, and pine-covered hills.

Next, you will enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant before travelling back to Danang via the Hai Van Tunnel. Transferring to Danang International Airport or a centrally located hotel for your onward journey.

In addition, you should arrange a late-afternoon or evening departure flight to allow sufficient travelling time from Hue.   • Ba Na Hills is often cooler, foggier, and more changeable than central Danang; guests should bring a light jacket.
  • The Golden Bridge can be crowded during weekends, public holidays, and peak travel seasons. An early departure is recommended.
  • The Phong Nha excursion involves a long return drive from Hue. Travel times may vary because of traffic and weather.
  • Cave visits and boat services are subject to river levels, flooding, and instructions from the national park authorities.
  • The order of attractions may be adjusted without reducing the principal experiences included in the itinerary.
  • A late-afternoon or evening departure from Danang is recommended on Day 5.
