Welcome to Danang, a vibrant coastal city renowned for its sandy beaches, modern bridges and relaxed family-friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival at Danang International Airport, meet your local guide and driver before beginning a short orientation tour of the city.

Pass the iconic Dragon Bridge, one of Danang’s most recognizable landmarks, and stop at Love Bridge for beautiful views across the Han River. This is an excellent opportunity for your family to take memorable photos against Danang’s modern cityscape.

After the city orientation, travel north toward Hue. Depending on road and weather conditions, the journey may offer beautiful views of Central Vietnam’s coastline and mountain landscapes. Hue served as Vietnam’s imperial capital during the Nguyen Dynasty and remains celebrated for its royal architecture, traditional cuisine and peaceful riverside setting.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing. In the evening, your family may explore Hue independently or sample local specialties such as banh khoai, banh beo, tapioca dumplings and Hue-style spring rolls at your own expense.

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning a fascinating exploration of Hue’s imperial heritage.

Your first visit is the magnificent Imperial Citadel, constructed under Emperor Gia Long in the early 19th century. Walk through the impressive Ngo Mon Gate and explore significant landmarks such as Thai Hoa Palace, The Mieu Temple and the Nine Dynastic Urns. The stories of emperors, royal ceremonies and court life provide an engaging introduction to Vietnam’s final imperial dynasty for both adults and younger travelers.

Next you continue visiting to Khai Dinh Tomb, one of Hue’s most distinctive royal mausoleums. Built into a hillside, the tomb combines Vietnamese traditions with European architectural influences and features elaborate mosaics, decorative ceilings and impressive stone sculptures.

In the afternoon, board a traditional dragon boat for a relaxing cruise along the Perfume River. Observe the peaceful riverside scenery before arriving at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s oldest and most iconic religious monuments. If time permits, visit Dong Ba Market to see a colorful selection of local produce, handicrafts and regional specialties.

Later, leave Hue and travel to Hoi An Ancient Town. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening with your family.

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a guided walking tour of UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town.

Once an important international trading port, Hoi An preserves a fascinating mixture of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European influences. Wander through atmospheric streets lined with yellow-painted houses, traditional shops, historic temples and colorful lanterns.

Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, the centuries-old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda and one of the town’s historic museums or assembly halls. Continue through the lively local market, where your family can observe daily life and discover tropical fruits, spices and regional products.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before traveling to Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village.

Surrounded by lush nipa palms and peaceful waterways, Cam Thanh offers a fun countryside experience for the entire family. Step aboard a traditional round bamboo basket boat and glide through narrow coconut-lined canals with a local rower. Depending on local conditions, family members may try rowing, watch a basket-boat demonstration or join a light crab-fishing activity while learning about the lives of local fishermen.

After this entertaining experience, transfer to Danang and check in at your hotel. The evening is free to relax or enjoy the city’s seaside atmosphere at your own pace.

At approximately 8:00 AM, meet your guide and depart for Ba Na Hills, a popular mountain resort located around 35 kilometers from central Danang. Board the spectacular cable-car system and travel above forested slopes while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and coastline.

Upon reaching the upper station, visit the famous Golden Bridge, an architectural landmark seemingly supported by two enormous stone hands. Take time to admire the mountain scenery and capture memorable family photographs.

Continue exploring some of Ba Na Hills’ best-known attractions, which may include Linh Ung Pagoda, the French Village, landscaped flower gardens and historic French-style villas. The combination of colorful architecture, cooler mountain air and scenic viewpoints makes the destination especially enjoyable for families.

Then you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant within the complex.

In the afternoon, spend time at Fantasy Park, one of Vietnam’s largest indoor entertainment centers. Families can discover a variety of interactive games, family rides, cinema experiences and adventure attractions. Some activities may be subject to age, height or separate-ticket requirements.

After your Ba Na Hills experience, descend by cable car and return to Danang. Enjoy your final evening at leisure, perhaps taking a walk along the beach, exploring the riverside area or enjoying a family dinner at a local restaurant.
