Day: 01

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (-)

Welcome to Hanoi, Impress Travel Team will be await for you at Noi Bai Airport, your welcome sign name to recognize  where is Impressers then transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day: 02

DAY 2: HANOI FULL-DAY CITY TOUR (B)

Hanoi is a bustling and fascinating city – a whirlwind of colours, smells and sounds and a wonderful place to get a real flavour of life in Vietnam.

After breakfast, your private guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you on a half-day tour to discover the city, taking in sights including the Ba Dinh SquareHo Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the historic Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university, built in the 11th century), the charming Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Later, your guide will take you on a fun cyclo (rickshaw) ride for one hour through the French colonial architecture of the precinct known as the French Quater, past the French-style villas, the Vietnam History Museum, the heritage Metropole Legend Hotel and the Opera House, name to a few.

Day: 03

DAY 3: HANOI – LAN HA BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B, L, D)

At around 7:45 am, we pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi to start our journey. When we arrive at Tuan Chau Marina – Ha Long, we enjoy a welcome drink and express check-in before boarding. After transferring by  speedboat to La Regina Legend Cruises. You will be welcomed aboard the cruise, and refreshed with our  welcome drink while the Cruise Manager briefing cruise orientation, activities & onboard safety. The cruise explores Chan Voi (Elephant Feet) and Tra Bau Area… while we are enjoying a meal that features the  distinctive Vietnamese cuisine taste.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at Light and Dark Cave – one of the best attractions on Lan Ha Bay which  is best known for its pristine and tranquil beauty. You can explore the area by local boat or kayaking. After  that, cruise further to Van Boi Area – the most ideal paradise for swimming. It’s a hidden beauty that impresses visitors with the natural scenery of mountains, rocks, and greenery surrounding nature to bring  a beautiful space, and fresh air. 

After that, we return to the cruise and enjoy the Bay sunset while enjoying the “Happy Hour" special. You  may also join our chef in the kitchen to learn how to make traditional spring rolls. After a traditional Vietnamese cuisine, we will spend time to enjoy some night activities on boat like: squid fishing, spa, karaoke, or relaxing.

Day: 04

DAY 4: LAN HA BAY – HANOI – FLY TO DANANG – HOI AN (B, BR)

In the early morning, we greet the new day on the sundeck with a tachi session and enjoy the fresh air on  the bay while you unwind with a cup of tea or coffee. Following, we have a quick breakfast on board and  get your day going with plenty of energy before going to discover Trung Trang Cave – one iconic and  historic cave on Cat Ba Island. Over millions of years of geological tectonics, this cave possesses thousands  of natural stalactites shaped to create a unique, imagination for visitors. It is known locally as “gold  treasure” with many unique things.

After that, we get back to the main boat for relaxing and check out at the reception, please put all your  luggage outside of your cabin, crew members will help to bring the luggage on land. Then lunch is served in  the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbor.  At around 11 am, we disembark from the cruise as our crew says farewell, back to Tuan Chau Marina by our  speed boat. Then we get in the car to go back to Hanoi for the transfer to airport for the flight to Danang. On your arrival in Danang, our car and English Speaking tour guide will wait at Danang International airport  to transfer you to Hoi An Ancient Town for accommodation.

Day: 05

DAY 5: HOI AN WALKING TOUR – COCONUT FOREST (B)

The historic and quaint nature of UNESCO World Heritage Site Hoi An is perfect for exploring. As a former fishing village set on the banks of the Thu Bon River and strategic trading port for Southeast Asia, centuries of French, Chinese and Japanese influence have left their unique mark on this town.

Morning
After breakfast, meet your private guide and take a leisurely bicycle ride along the bank of the Thu Bon River toward Hoi An Ancient Town. Follow your guide you will explore the town’s historical sites including Chua Ong PagodaTan Ky Ancient HouseFujian Assembly Hall, and the Japanese Covered Bridge.

Continue to visit the Precious Heritage Museum, home to the permanent exhibition of Réhahn’s Precious Heritage Collection. While transporting you to the furthest reaches of Vietnam, the collection will unveil the rich cultural tapestry of the ethnic tribes.

The highlight of the day is the visit to the Reaching Out Tea House, a welcome little oasis of calm in the busy, vibrant Old quarter, owned and operated by the mute and deaf people. Here you will be treated with delicious cakes and incredible tea in the Eastern style.

Afternoon
Transfer to Cam Thanh Village, nestled in the peaceful countryside of Hoi An, a riverside farming community that is a major supplier of seafood, and produce for the town. On arrival, take a bamboo basket ride along the river to admire the beautiful sunset. Arrive at the bamboo watch-tower where you will find a cozy tent with a table set up and ready for your dinner. Savour an unforgettable dinner with local fresh foods and vegetables. Relax and take in the tranquil feeling being surrounded by rice fields and the river.

Day: 06

DAY 6: HOI AN – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

Today, you will be free until the we depart the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, welcome upon arrival by a local tour guide and driver  then we transfer to the hotel for check-in. After check-in, we will be free to wander around the hustle and bustle city on your own.

Day: 07

DAY 7: HALF-DAY CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

At 8.30 am, we will pick you up at the hotel in HCMC. The first place of the morning trip is Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. We continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars. Lunch will be served in the local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours of bus driving. Upon  arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video  about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, you can spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like  storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. We have a break time for relaxation or time for those who want to try a real shooting gun. At 7 pm, we return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day: 08

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – MY THO (B, L)

A full day to visit the Mekong River Delta, it is one of the highlights in Vietnam, you will explore the rural life of the world of water in the wetland of the southern part of Vietnam.

Leaving Ho Chi Minh city at 08:00 am for 02 hours driving with land transfer from Ho Chi Minh city to My Tho city, enjoying sightseeing with countryside scenery along the way to visit Mekong Delta.

10:00 am, arrival in My Tho town, getting embark a motorboat for a leisurely cruising tour along the tributary of the Mekong Delta River for a close-up view of local rural lifestyle with the stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank.

  • VISIT TORTOISE ISLAND: It is a boat to the procedure you to this island, at disembarking the boat for a while, starts wandering around through the island and orchard gardens where you can try tasting with honey tea and some various samples of fresh juicy tropical fruits while listening to the traditional classical music being performed by the local music band.
  • HAVE LOCAL LUNCH: It is served to you by a local restaurant with local foods in the Mekong that sure to bring you a local taste of delicious lunch as Mekong Delta Cuisine.
  • DISCOVER RURAL LIFE AND COCONUT CANDY WORKSHOP: Tour continued with a visit to a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste a delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you take a horse-driven cart tour moving along the villages for more sightseeing
  • ROWING SAMPAN: Taking a hand rowing sampan for a while, moving through Mekong Delta small channels thickly covered with water coconut forests for a great real experience of the rural life on the water of the Mekong Delta region
  • Taking the motorboat back to the pier. Disembark, meet again the driver for two hours driving back to HCM city

Day: 09

DAY 9: HCM CITY FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP AND VISIT ANGKOR TEMPLE TOUR (B)

Time will be free until our car arrives at the hotel to take us to the airport in good time to board our flight  to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and we will transfer to visit to the  unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (“The Royal Baths" was once used or ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain lake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of  towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.

Day: 10

DAY 10: EXPLORATION OF ANGKOR TEMPLE (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel will 9 am, we then spend time visiting the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12  century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon  Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the  Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

In the afternoon, we visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively  untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, and the most famous of all the temples  on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to  the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the  12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and  architecture. Enjoy a wonderful sunset from the top of Phnom Ba Kheng Hill. After the tour, we returned  back to the hotel and spent the rest of the day relaxing.

Day: 11

DAY 11: SIEM REAP – PHNOM KULEN MOUNTAINS – BANTEAY SREY (B)

We will drive up Kulen Mountains for the visit to a Grand Buddha Statue, the River of Thousand Lingas and the Great Waterfall. On the way back, we will visit to Banteay Srey, known as Citadel of Women or a Pink Temple, and Banteay Samre Temples.

DAY 12: SIEM REAP – FLIGHT TO BANGKOK (B)

DAY 13: BANGKOK FULL DAY CITY TOUR – GRAND ROYAL PALACE (B)

After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.

Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube. Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day: 14

DAY 14: BANGKOK – FLIGHT TO CHIANG MAI (B)

DAY 15: CHIANG MAI CITY TOUR FULL DAY (B)

The morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take rickshaw tour.  After that, you will take a walking through the central market of Warorot. In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.  Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

DAY 16: CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT JUNGLE SANCTUARY (B, L) - JOIN IN

08:00 – 08:30: Pick up from your hotel or accommodation

08:30: Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.

10:30: Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.

11:00: Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.

12:00: Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.

13:00: Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.

We went on a private trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, the whole trip plan was organized for us by the Impress Travel Company from Vietnam, the company did an amazing job, the whole trip was organized in a wonderful way with an amazing match between the various parties, their choices were correct and the quality of the hotels chosen were very high quality and it is important to note that the price was low in comparison To other agencies, thanks to Impress Travel and especially to Daniel who was tolerant and open to changes and organized the route for us.

Tour of Vietnam

Impress travel were amazing. Did my bookings with Daniel for our tour of Vietnam and I must say Daniel was very professional and prompt with his services. All the arrangement, plans, pick-up & drop-off services, hotels, vehicles, sightseeing tours and guides were spot on and excellent. Did 4 nights Hanoi, 1 night Hà Long Bay cruise, 3 nights Hoian, 4 nights Saigon and 1 night in Can Tho. It was totally awesome. Every part of the journey was superbly arranged and planned. The tour was fantastic

I booked with Impress Travel in July. My contact person was Tommy Thang. He is an amazing person. He was very helpful. He changed my program twice for me. Very accommodating!
We started our holiday in the north (Sapa)of Vietnam and travelled down to HCMC.

Great value for money with 4 stars hotel accommodation for 4 couples. The tour guide has been very helpful and brought us to amazing places in Sapa. This is the second time we travel to Vietnam with IMPRESS Travel. First time, we booked our holiday to Hanoi, Halong Bay & Sapa during Dec 2018 with Impress.
