Crawl through narrow passageways, uncover well-concealed traps, and try to imagine life underground during wartime-just about sure to keep your mouth agape in awe at the resilience of Vietnam.
From here, we continue our real historical journey to Chau Doc: a beautiful little riverside town not very far from the Cambodian border. During the drive, I will tell interesting stories related to the history and culture of the local region. In the evening, we will arrive in Chau Doc, try to have a look at the local markets, have a good dinner, and catch the atmosphere of this border town.
Day 3: Chau Doc – Ha Tien
Time to rise and shine! Today, we head out to Tra Su Cajuput Forest-just so darn beautiful, full of tall cajuput trees and a variety of wildlife. We will discover the magic kingdom by boat, gliding along narrow canals. Birds sing above our heads-it’s an absolute nature lover’s paradise!
After the forest, we head towards the coastal town of Ha Tien. Fill the relaxing afternoon at the pristine Mui Nai Beach; let the soft sands and soothing waves work out the perfect spot to relax. We spend the night in Ha Tien, resting up for the next chapter.
Day 4: Ha Tien – Kampot (Cambodia)

Get ready to take an international turn in our journey! Today, we will cross the border from Ha Tien into Cambodia. After a swift border check, we go on to the scenic town of Kampot. First up is refreshing Teuk Chhou Stream-a local favorite where one can take a cool dip and relax amidst nature.
Next, we come to Kampot Market-very busy-where you can buy craftsmanship, spices, and of course the famous Kampot pepper! Afterward, we continue to Kep, a quaint seaside town where fresh seafood and exceptional coastal views will make you feel like a king. In the evening, finally yours after dinner, see for yourself the unique charm of Kep.
Day 5: Kep – Ha Tien – Can Tho
This morning, we cross back into Vietnam via the Ha Tien border and start driving down toward Can Tho, commonly regarded as the heart of the Mekong Delta. Arriving there, the afternoon is yours to either walk the lively streets, try local delicacies, or chill out by the riverside.
