The trump card of Mu Cang Chai without doubt is the Terrace Fields. Hailed by many as some of the most beautiful rice terraces in the world, they are a true marvel engineered by the ingenuity of man. Hewn out of the mountainsides by the H’Mong people, these turn into sheets of gold during harvest time, creating a landscape that is as breathtaking as it is humbling. No wonder these terraces were recognized by UNESCO as a national heritage site take a stroll through these fields, meet the farmers who work the land, and take killer photos to make your friends green with envy on our Mu Cang Chai Tours.

Take part in either the exciting drive over Khau Pha Pass or take a motorbike tour. It is one of Vietnam’s longest and most difficult mountain passes, and from Khau Pha comes an awesome panoramic view that is simply out of this world. The pass winds through misty mountains and deep valleys with water cascading terraced fields running down the slopes below the edges. It is a perfect place to stop and get drenched with nature’s splendor, so to say, during the paragliding festival when the skies are dotted with colorful parachutes.

On the way to Sapa, we will visit the enchanting Muong Hoa Valley. Muong Hoa Valley is not only a visual feast with its landscapes and streams but also a cultural treasure-the host of ancient rock carvings and ethnic villages with the ability to experience the traditional way of life of H’Mong, Dao, Tay. A stroll through the valley bequeaths one with a time-worn journey amidst nature’s pristine beauty, entwined by the rich tapestry of ethnic cultural Vietnam.

Of course, no visit to this region would be complete without conquering Fansipan Peak the highest mountain in Indochina. Thanks to the modern cable car, you can now reach the summit with ease, enjoying a ride that lets you enjoy spectacular views of the Hoang Lien Son range right from your seat. Once at the top, the sense of accomplishment is equaled only by panoramic vistas stretching out in every direction. Truly a moment to savor!

Get transported onto the striking Dragon Cloud Glass Bridge in Lai Chau. Imagine walking in the air, worlds literally beneath your feet in a dizzying array of mountains and valleys. One of the most spectacular bridges in the world, this glass bridge will get your heart whisking with its thrilling experience.
