Visit Lang Van Beach in Danang – An Exciting Camping Spot
Lang Van Beach in Danang is a great place to feel for every adventure lover and nature friend. Located under the foot of Hai Van Pass, the place is suitable for those who want to move out of the city for the peaceful delight of delightful natural sights. The purpose of this essay is to provide readers with tips and tricks on how to organize an unforgettable camping trip to LangVan Beach in Danang.
Overview of Lang Van Beach
Location and General Description
The beach is situated in the Liên Chiểu District, approximately 20 kilometers away from Danang, thereby providing an outstandingly quiet place for camping. Being characterized by the isolation of the central city and the stunning sight of the picturesque natural landscape, the beach is already identified by travelers as a suitable place for camping. The water is transparent and clean, the shore is sandy and quite significant, and the overall atmosphere is undeniably perfect for camping.
Historical Background and Significance
Lang Van Beach in Danang
The place used to be a small secluded fishing village, the habitat of minorities, who had been living there before their ‘predecessors’ were forced to move from the city because of the leprosy disease. Presumably, the healing processes developed, and the villagers moved back to their habitats and integrated into modern society, leaving the rest of the place that is still perfectly untouched by the severe human hand of an ordinary man. The isolation of the place seems to be a point of advantage for thrill-seeker adherents, who may come to the place in search of old historical values.
Key Features
The place is perfectly isolated and characterized by the outstandingly silent, untouched location. Clean beaches, clear water, and an abundance of fresh air are the most critical features of the place.
How to Get to Lang Van Beach
Detailed Directions from Danang City Center
By Boat
This is a simple and quite popular way of getting to Lang Van Beach in Danang. Start your journey to the summit of the Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach from which local fishermen are ready to transport you to Lang Van. Thirty minutes later and 200,000 VND poorer, you will find yourself at the desired location. It is extremely important to remember to wear your life jacket and to never travel individually.
By Trekking from Hai Van Pass
An alternative option for the lovers of extreme is hiking from Lang Van Beach’s neighboring region of Hai Van Pass. Drive your car or take the bus to the foot of Hai Van Pass and leave your vehicle at a local shop that collects modest fees for guarding it. Start hiking by following the railway but there is no need to pass the tunnel. The trek lasts two kilometers and is built downhill to afford the adventurers an exquisite scene of coastline. We advise this option only to physically fit travelers who enjoy hiking.
Through the Railway Tunnel
In addition to the above-mentioned methods, you can also try getting to Lang Van Beach in Danang through the Railway Tunnel, which, despite being the shortest, is also the most dangerous way of doing that. The tunnel is dark and narrow, and you should also constantly keep in mind that it might be used by the trains at any given moment. I would not recommend using this way, unless you know the train timetable and have a flashlight with you.
Transportation Options and Costs
Boat: 200,000 VND per person, 30 minutes
Trekking: Free, but involves a challenging 2-kilometer hike
Railway Tunnel: Free, but not recommended due to safety concerns
Travel Tips for a Smooth Journey
Travel in groups: It’s safer and more enjoyable.
Bring essentials: you need water, some light snacks, and a simple first-aid kit
Wear appropriate gear: You will need comfortable hiking shoes and clothing for the journey.
Check weather conditions: A difficult journey becomes even harder during the rainy season.

The beach is wonderful for stargazing because the skies are transparent and not ghosted. It is outstandingly good due to the lack of atmospheric and light pollution; the Milky Way is largely visible.

Also on this beach, beachcombing can be a fascinating activity since the beaches are rocky, and you can have huge collections of various and assorted seashells, rocks, and marine creatures.
