8:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up and Welcome Briefing
Your experience starts with a hotel pickup in Da Nang. You’ll be met by our friendly guide with a warm welcome, a rundown of the day’s plan, and a welcome to a day of cultural immersion and surfing in Da Nang.
8:30 AM – Discover Marble Mountain
We begin our trips by visiting Marble Mountain – one of Da Nang’s most significant symbols. Discover ancient cave temples adorned with Buddhist statues, ascend to vantage points, and hear about the mountain’s spiritual meaning in Vietnamese culture. This is a great site for taking epic pictures and to learn about the history of the location.
9:45 AM – Visit Da Nang Cathedral (Pink Church)
Next, we visit the iconic Da Nang Cathedral, a pretty pink Gothic Church, representing the French colonial influence of the city. That gives you time to appreciate the beautiful architecture, get a few photos, and listen to stories of its contribution to the community.
10:30 AM – Explore Han Market – A Taste of Local Life
Explore the colorful stalls of Han Market, one of the busiest local markets in Da Nang. Explore the markets lined with fresh fruits and vegetables, local handmade crafts and savory Vietnamese snacks. It’s your opportunity to buy some souvenirs and taste the local fruits, or simply grab a robust Vietnamese coffee.
11:30 AM – Lunch at a Riverside Vietnamese Restaurant
Re-energize with a tasty lunch at a riverside eatery beside the Han River. Feast on Vietnamese specialties such as Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancakes), Mi Quang (turmeric seasoned noodles) and fresh spring rolls. It’s a chance to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine and scenery at the same time.
12:45 PM – Arrival at My Khe Beach – Surfing Preparation
We grab lunch and make our way to My Khe Beach, the most frequented Da Nang surf spot. After we have our surfboards and are ready to rock and roll, one of our professional surf instructors will lead the way for a rapid surf safety talk and basics on how to surf, along with beach tips. You’ll also select your surfboard rental, whether it’s a shortboard, longboard, or foamie.
1:00 PM – Beginner Surfing Session at My Khe Beach
It’s time to hit the waves! Our surf instructor will assist you with the basics of surfing in Da Nang, paddling, from beginning to standing up on surf surfboard. My Khe Beach’s low waves make it the ultimate place for beginners, and the best part is that our friendly instructors will make sure you are super comfortable in the water.
2:00 PM – Intermediate Surfing Session – Improve Your Skills
If you feel comfortable, keep practicing rolling in slightly bigger waves. You’ll get personalized tips from our instructors, so you’ll be able to learn how to master your balance, turns techniques, and catch green waves. Beginner or experienced, the bottom line in this session is progress.
3:00 PM – Free Surfing or Beach Relaxation
Take some leisure time to surf or at your own pace, or just enjoy the sunshine of the white sand, My Khe Beach. Or drink the sights and sun, with a rejuvenating coconut straight from a beach cafe, sulking by. Use it for the time on the Da Nang beach activities as you want.
4:00 PM – Sunset Surf Session and Photoshoot
And, as the evening approaches and the sun starts to head for the horizon, the golden light reflects from the surface of the water which gives you the perfect backdrop for a local sunset surf. Our teachers will take pictures of the free surf, so you will always have nice memories. Your opportunity to catch waves with the warm glow of a sunset.
4:30 PM – Return to Your Hotel
Following a memorable day of culture and surfing, our driver will transfer you to your hotel. Recall your new experiences, share your surf photos, and reminisce about your surfing in Da Nang.

Da Nang itself proved to be a surfer’s paradise, from beginners to advanced. From the gentle break of My Khe Beach to the fierce surf at Nam O Beach, there’s no shortage of fun to be had in this coastal town. But it’s not all about Da Nang surf – it’s also about discovering the colorful Da Nang beach activities, indulging in local food, and experiencing the wonder of Vietnamese culture.
We went on a private trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, the whole trip plan was organized for us by the Impress Travel Company from Vietnam, the company did an amazing job, the whole trip was organized in a wonderful way with an amazing match between the various parties, their choices were correct and the quality of the hotels chosen were very high quality and it is important to note that the price was low in comparison To other agencies, thanks to Impress Travel and especially to Daniel who was tolerant and open to changes and organized the route for us.
