Sapa Silver Waterfall: Coming to Sapa, visitors will encounter attractive points: such as the terraced fields along the mountainside, or enjoy the attractive cuisine here. Location: Silver Waterfall (geographic coordinates: 22.361626 North latitude, 103.778912 East longitude) is a tourist attraction in San Sa Ho commune, Sa Pa district of Lao Cai province. The waterfall is located right next to Highway 4D, the arterial route to Lai Chau province, and only about 12 km from the center of Sa Pa town to the west, so it is quite convenient to visit.
The natural beauty: The scenery along the way, the pine forests, the rubber trees spreading on the hills, and below the path are the lush fields of roses all year round that will make visitors forget the long way. This area is beautiful because the people here are gentle and hospitable. Whether you are a foreigner or a Vietnamese, when coming to this land, you will receive the warm affection of the local people. Sapa is also beautiful by the charming scenery of the mountains: it is the primeval forests, the terraced fields spread evenly on the mountain slopes or the floating clouds, suspended between the sky, and a beauty that is not can not be mentioned: there are waterfalls falling all year round such as Cat Cat waterfall, Giang Ta Chai waterfall… and most especially Silver Waterfall.
Formation: Silver Waterfall with an altitude of more than 200 meters is upstream of Muong Hoa stream with an altitude of 1,800 meters located at the foot of O Quy Ho pass. Standing on the top of Ham Rong mountain in the center of Sa Pa town, you can see the white Silver waterfall on clear days and this is also the origin of the name of the waterfall. From the high ravine, the water rumbles down, the foam is white like flowers, so the people call it Silver Waterfall. That Bac area is one of the places with the heaviest snowfall in Sa Pa, in March 2011, the waterfall area was covered with snow up to 10 cm thick.
Altitude of more than 100m: With an altitude of more than 100m, all year round, white water flows down the stream. On clear blue days, standing on Ham Rong mountain, visitors will see in the distance silvery white water flowing down. Therefore, the people here give it a romantic name – Silver Waterfall. When approaching the beautiful waterfall that appears before the eyes of visitors, above are the sprays of water that fly out like clouds partially covering the waterfall, at the foot of the waterfall are splashes of water because of the very strong flow.
