Trekking to Cat Cat Village: The first trek brings us to one of the H’mong villages: Cat Cat Village, which lies in a deep valley at the foot of Mount Fansipan. You will see:

Day 1: Journey to Sapa

06:20 – Departure from Hanoi

  • Meeting Point: 160 Tran Quang Khai, Hanoi

Good morning, travelers! Today we kick off our Sapa Tours adventure. Meet at our meeting point; you will be greeted by our energetic guide and joined by fellow travelers. Then have a brief introduction before boarding our comfortable bus to the town of Sapa, take a seat, relax, and enjoy the view along the way while leaving Hanoi’s hustle and bustle behind.

Afternoon Trek to Cat Cat Village

08:00 – Breakfast at the Ecolodge

Morning Trek to Y Linh Ho Village

This is where our trek begins. We will start by walking to Y Linh Ho Village via Mường Hoa Stream and self-terraced fields. As we finally reach and visit some of the local H’mong families to learn about their unique culture and way of life at the Hoang Lien Son mountain range view, we meet a very interesting but rather quiet experience.

Continue to Lao Chai Village

From here, our next stop will be on to the  Lao Chai village. This will provide us with more of the Black H’mong families. You will get further inside their daily routines and traditions of life here. Afternoon Trek to Ta Van Village

Our final destination for trekking would be Ta Van Village, where the Giay people reside. Hanoi night train to Sapa, Lao Cai province

Lao Cai – Sapa, trek to Ta Van village (B, L, D)

  • After the night experience night train, we arrive at Lao Cai station in the early morning, and then we take 45 minutes for driving up to Sapa town.
  • After breakfast & a short morning break and have some last preparation for the trekking to villages.
  • We leave the hotel and start easy trekking through the hill-tribe villages, green valleys, rice terraces and have a picnic lunch en trekking track.
  • Keep trekking to Ta van village where is the home of the Giay People. We will be warmly welcomed by locals and check in the homestay and overnight with experienced nighttime here.

  • The afternoon time is free at leisure and explore Sapa town by self

  • Leave Sapa by Bus in the late afternoon (5.30 p.m.) to Lao Cai station for our night train back to Hanoi.
