10:30 AM – Arrival at Y Linh Ho Village

12:00 PM – Picnic Lunch in Y Linh Ho Village

01:00 PM – Continue Trekking to Lao Chai Village
Following your lunch, continue your trek to Lao Chai Village. In the afternoon, this trek will further bring you inside Muong Hoa Valley with the lovely vista of terraced fields and Muong Hoa River lying down under. This stretch of the trek is a bit relaxed one that one can enjoy the view and excellent pictures.
03:30 PM – Arrive at Lao Chai Village
Arrive at Lao Chai Village. Transfer by shuttle back to Sapa town. Before boarding, you will take a short time to visit the villagers in their homes to learn about the traditional life of spiritual culture.
04:00 PM – Return to Sapa and Traditional Herbal Bath
Come back to Sapa town. After an entire day of trekking, one can relax and regain strength with a traditional herbal bath prepared specially by the Red Dao people to help you relax your muscles and realign the balance of your body.
Lao Chai Village
06:30 PM – Dinner at Viettrekking Restaurant
Delicious dinner at Viettrekking Restaurant. The menu includes Sapa specialties hotpot with fresh sturgeon and salmon, as well as other delicacies to help you warm up after the day’s trek. Then, you will be spending your free evening either exploring Sapa town or maybe just relaxing inside your accommodation.
07:00 AM – Breakfast at Hotel
The next morning, after breakfast at the hotel, head for a heavy fill-up before beginning the day. The guide will see you at your hotel, to ensure that all your preparations are in readiness to ascend Fansipan.
07:30 AM – Transfer to Fansipan Legend Station
Exit from the hotel to Fansipan Legend Station, the starting point of the journey to the top of Fansipan.
08:00 AM – Fansipan Cable Car Ride
You will take the Fansipan Cable Car to the summit on a journey lasting around 20 minutes. During the climb on the cable car, an entire panoramic view of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Muong Hoa Valley, and the majestic, pristine forest underneath is revealed.
08:30 AM – Arrival at Fansipan Summit
Get off the cable car and start your final short ascent to the top. It is well-paved, but we are pretty high, so the equivalent of walking up two stories is, in reality catching up with most. Stand at the “Roof of Indochina," exactly 3,143 meters above the sea level. Please spend some time wandering around the plateau to the temples and monuments on the summit, and take photos of the vistas.
09:30 AM – Explore the Fansipan Summit
Enjoy some of the many cultural sites at the summit: a 21.5-meter bronze Buddha statue, a spiritual complex, and a towering flagpole. Not only is this summit topped with the magnificence of view, but one also experiences a deep sense of tranquility and knows there will be some feeling of spirituality.
10:30 AM – Descend via Cable Car
Descend via cable car back to Fansipan Legend Station. That way, you get to revisit some of the magnificent landscapes from great views all over again.
11:00 AM – Free Time in Sapa
Back to Sapa town, where you are free to walk around to the market, luggage van, etc. Optional tours outside Sapa town include a trip to Cat Cat Village and, a visit to Ham Rong Mountain for a short climb of impressive scenery.
12:30 PM – Lunch in Sapa

Fansipan Cable Car Ride

Notice that this trek features walking over steep and uneven terrain; therefore, a good level of fitness is advised. You do not have to be an athlete, but light cardio like walking, jogging, or climbing stairs in the weeks leading up to your travel will make it much more enjoyable.
