Practical Travel Information for Bangladesh to Hanoi Tours

Visa Requirements for Bangladesh to Hanoi Tours Travelers

If you’re traveling to Vietnam from Bangladesh, you’ll need a Vietnamese visa in advance. Most convenient is the Vietnam e-visa, allowing for a 30-day stay in Vietnam for holders of a Bangladeshi passport. Apply for it through an online application at the website of the Vietnam Immigration Department, and it will take about 3-5 working days.

Another option is a Visa on Arrival (VOA), but initially, you must obtain a visa approval letter in advance of your trip first. Once at Noi Bai International Airport, then, you submit your letter, your passport, your fee for your visa, and your photos to have your visa stamped.

If you prefer the traditional manner, you can apply through the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangladesh with supporting documents. Whatever your preference, your passport must have a minimum of six months’ validity from your date of journey.

Best Time to Experience Bangladesh to Hanoi Tours in Vietnam

One of the Bangladesh to Hanoi tours is that Vietnam is an incredible country to explore at any time of the year. That being said, to maximize your trip, pay attention to the seasonal variation:

  • Spring (March-May): Pleasant weather, ideal for traveling to Hanoi, Halong Bay, and trekking in Mu Cang Chai.
  • Autumn (September – November): Best period for visiting, when the paddies in Mu Cang Chai turn a magnificent yellow. Best for photographers.
  • Winter (December – February): Hanoi can become chilly, especially in the hills, but it’s a perfect time to explore Vietnam’s heritage with fewer tourists.
  • Summer (June – August): Warm and rainy, with intermittent rain showers, but a great time for Halong Bay cruises and beach vacations.

For the most relaxed temperatures and best view, the best times to visit are between March-May and September-November.

Currency Exchange & Budgeting for Bangladesh to Hanoi Tours Travelers in Vietnam

The official country currency in Vietnam is the Vietnamese Dong (VND). 1 USD is roughly 25,000 VND, but exchange rates can vary. For best exchange rates, don’t use kiosks at airports and try to go to a bank, Hanoi Old Quarter gold shops, or approved exchange counters.

Here’s a quick budgeting guideline for your trip:

  • Meals: $5 to USD 15 per meal at restaurants in the locality.
  • Street food in Hanoi: $2 to USD 5 (spring rolls, pho, and banh mi).
  • Halong Bay Cruise extras: $10 – USD 30 for tips, kayaking, and drinks.
  • Souvenirs: Textiles, handicrafts, and quality Vietnamese coffee range from $5 – USD 50.
