Upon arrival at Phu Quoc International Airport or the passenger pier, meet your local guide and driver. After a warm welcome, begin your exploration of the southern part of the island.
Your first stop is a Phu Quoc pearl farm, where you will learn how oysters are cultivated and how pearls are collected, selected and crafted into jewelry. The visit offers an interesting introduction to one of Phu Quoc’s best-known local industries.
Then, you continue to visit Phu Quoc Prison, also known as the Coconut Tree Prison. This important historical site preserves exhibitions, reconstructed detention areas and powerful reminders of the hardships endured by prisoners during wartime.

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide for the journey to An Thoi Port in southern Phu Quoc.
Then, you will board a boat or speedboat and set out across the beautiful An Thoi Archipelago, a tropical island group known for emerald water, peaceful beaches and diverse marine life. The exact route will be selected according to daily weather, tides and sea conditions.
The first snorkeling stop is normally around Gam Ghi Island or another suitable coral-reef area. Putting on the provided mask, snorkel and life jacket before entering the water to observe coral formations and colorful tropical fish. Beginners may receive basic guidance from the tour team.
Next, you will continue to another sheltered location for swimming and recreational fishing. The boat crew will prepare the necessary equipment, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed fishing experience surrounded by the scenery of southern Phu Quoc.

Before arriving in Phu Quoc, I only had a very vague image in my mind. I thought my trip would simply be about lying on a beach chair at the resort, reading a few books, and relaxing under the tropical sunshine beside the sea. But soon I realised that Phu Quoc had much more to offer than that.
So, I called my travel consultant from Impress Travel & Ani DMC for advice. He suggested something far more special — renting a small private boat and cruising across the bay to discover untouched hidden beaches. There, I found myself completely immersed in magnificent nature: endless white sandy beaches, the gentle sound of waves blending with the golden sunlight, and graceful coconut trees stretching toward the sea.
