Day 01

HANOI –MAI CHAU

Impress Travel Team will pick you up from your hotel, then depart to Northwest of Vietnam. Driving up following along highway 6 to Mai Chau
Upon arrival in Lac Village in Mai Chau, then have lunch
In afternoon easy trekking to discover Mai Chau Valley – Home of Thai people and Song Ma River’s bank area, by trekking following the buffalo trail via the rice field from the villages to villages of Thai people,
Return to Lac Village then have dinner,
Enjoy Thai people’s traditional performance
Overnight in the Thai’s house on stilt.
Distance from Hanoi to Mai Chau: 160 km or 100 miles.

Day 02

MAI CHAU – SON LA

Good morning Mai Chau with local breakfast
Continue following Highway 6 to plateau Moc Chau, a nature city with a lot of fruit and tree, flower in every different season.
On the winding road, we stop anywhere to take a photograph or visit any minority people villages of Hmong, Thai People along the way.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant between Mai Chau and Son La, before visiting a tea plantation on Moc Chau plateau—Vietnam’s premier tea-growing region.
Keep up driving to Son La were for overnight and visiting Son La museum.

Distance from Mai Chau to Moc Chau and Son La: 187 km or 116 miles

Day 03

SON LA – DIEN BIEN

Check out the hotel, have breakfast in the local restaurant – Pho noodle soup, then visiting Son La museum, before leaving this town to Dien Bien Phu.
Keep winding mountain roads through North Vietnam’s stunning countryside. Take any stopover on the way for photo opportunities or to visit local villages, learning more about their unique cultures.
Have lunch in a small town, then continue driving to the impressive Pha Din pass—a highlight of the day. Pha Din sits 1,000 meters or 3,280 feet above the sea level. According to local legend, “Pha Din” means the connection between Heaven and Earth.
Upon arrival in Dien Bien Phu early in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day visiting the historical site of the Vietnamese / French War, including the Dien Bien Phu Museum and A 1 Hill.
Have dinner and spend the night in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 04

DIEN BIEN – LAI CHAU

Today is driving from Dien Bien to Lai Chau, the distance about 180 km – 110 miles. Still keeping on winding road and spectacular scenery
There will be stops to visit the H’mong and ZDao villages on the way. Arrive in Lai Chau in early afternoon,
Upon Arrival in Lai Chau town, being free time at leisure and discovering Lai Chau Town
Having dinner & overnight this town.
Distance from Dien Bien to Lai Chau: 180 km or 110 miles.

Day 05

LAI CHAU – SAPA

Leaving Lai Chau to Sapa – Lao Cai is about 180 km – 110 miles by driving on the winding road, being admired by spectacular scenery again. The Tran Tan pass with the most wonderful & memorable view where is the 25 miles drive to Sapa goes up the ChinCo pass and Tram Son pass, the highest pass in Vietnam, view down from Fansipan Peak – the roof of Indochine. En-route is the beautiful area of Heaven’s Gate and Silver Waterfall.
Upon Sapa arrival, check-in hotel, then free at leisure or to explore Sapa town at night
Have dinner & overnight in Sapa
The distance from Lai Chau to Sapa: 180 km- 110 miles

Day 06

SAPA

Begin the new day with breakfast at the hotel
Trekking down the hill to Muong Hoa valley where following the buffalo trail to do easy trekking via the rice terraces and village to village.
We will visit Lao Chai village where is home of H’mong people, going pass the rice terrace and trail to Ta Van village where land of Dzay people.
Have time for lunch and visiting around Ta Van village before getting main-road for driving back to Sapa town.
Free at leisure in Sapa town, have dinner and overnight in Sapa
Trekking time: 5 hours trekking on the buffalo trail

Day 07

SAPA-HANOI

Good morning Sapa
Free to explore Sapa town in the morning
Driving to Lao Cai for lunch
After lunch, leaving Lao Cai town following highway Lao Cai – Hanoi ( 250 km – 155 miles) – Take about 3.5 hours to arrive in Hanoi.
Distance from Sapa, Lao Cai and Hanoi: 300 km or 236 miles.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 08

HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE ( B/ L/ D )

About 05:30 am ( can be flexible ), arrival to Hanoi train station, you will be picked up and send to a hotel nearby, right outside the Train Station ( Entrance Gate B ) for getting daily-use get change, take a shower and have breakfast before going to Ha Long Bay.

07:00 am ( or can be 07:20 am) from your hotel to travel to Ha Long Bay ( notice: pickup time can be a bit flexible depending on each different Cruise, distance Hanoi – Ha Long bay is 160km, a stop for a break time on halfway for a refreshment ).
You enjoy the drive and sightseeing the peaceful countryside scenery during the bus trip ( 4 hours ), we arrive at the at Ha Long bay seaport at around noon time
At noon, you aboard the cruise, check-in & enjoy a welcome drink while your cabin will be assigned.
Check-in your cabin and put your luggage in, relax and may do a short inspection tour by moving around the cruise to discover about the cruise’s architecture & design
Relax, sightseeing and taking photographs before lunch is served.
You will have a sumptuous lunch with fresh seafood while cruise slowly gliding out into the Ha Long bay.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to admire thousands of islands and islets with magnificent caves and grottoes at the inside the islands, admiring sparkling stalactites and stalagmites like germs and listening to the legends of the Dragons and the land and seascape in the area
You may enjoy extra activities organized on board ( depends on each cruise program) such as visiting a floating village, going for kayaking ( notice: extra activities subject to availability, kayaking fee is on own expense, can be available on request at Cruise’s reception )
Relax on the cruise during the happy hours or may join in a cooking demonstration, watching the sunset on Cruise.
You will have dinner on the cruise.
After dinner, free at leisure time to relax on Cruise and socialize with other guests or can join in some other evening activities such as squid fishing…,
Overnight in your cabin on the Cruise.

Day 09

HALONG BAY CRUISE – DRIVE TO HANOI – OVERNIGHT IN HANOI ( B / L )

Early bird risers may have a great chance to enjoy the sunrise and enjoy the amazingly peaceful breath-taking beauties of Ha Long Bay’s seascape in the early morning.
Refresh your body & soul with a Tai-chi martial art lesson on the sundeck.
Starting a new day with delicious breakfast
You continue to enjoy the sightseeing tour on the cruise until noontime, sightseeing, taking photographs & relax onboard
At about 09:30 – 10:00, pack up your luggage and check out your cabin while cruising returning to the boat pier.
We will have lunch on the cruise ( or in a restaurant inland in Ha Long Bay depends on different cruise’s program)
11:30 am – Return to prier, and disembark the Cruise & say farewell to all crew member,
Back to Hanoi.
About 16:00 – Arrival back to Hanoi central city, recheck in the hotel
