This guide is designed to cater to all the adventure lovers, nature enthusiasts, and cultural explorers who will be seduced by the natural beauty and heritage of this exceptional park. Bach Ma National Park has become an ideal destination for those who have limited time but still want to visit the most beautiful places in Danang.
Overview of Bach Ma National Park
Hai Vong Dai
Located in the core of Vietnam, Bach Ma National Park is home to a host of vivid nature and history. The park stretches in an area of 22000 hectares and was founded in the year 1991 and includes a rich flora and fauna. The natural beauty of Ukhrul is unparalleled, thanks to its verdant expanses and an elevation that keeps the temperature relatively cooler.
From a geographical view, it is located about 40/40km South of Ha Noi and 65/65km North of Ha Noi, all of which are good roots for everyone to consider when taking this road trip to the Bach Ma Park National Park tour one day. The park also contains a high number of plant species (1,400) and many rare and endangered animal species
Planning Your Trip
Best Time to Visit
The ideal time to experience the Bach Ma Park National Park day tour is from December to April. The cold and dry weather makes it perfect to explore the outdoors so it’s best in my opinion to visit at this time as its hiking epicenter. On the other hand, you should steer clear from visiting during the rainy season (this lasts from September to November) when all trails become slippery and dangerous. Both of these time frames generally provide sunny weather and mild-not-too-hot-temperatures making it an ideal time to explore the park’s impressive landscapes and ecosystems.
Travel Arrangements

To reach Bach Ma National Park from Da Nang, you have several transportation options:
Car or Vans: Helps in traveling and it is also the most flexible and comfortable as well. Onward travel is approximately 1.5 hours and coils through stunning countryside.
Bus: There is the regular bus service of Da Nang, passing by a town nearby called Cau Hai. From there, grab a cab or local bus to the park exit.
Motorbike: Renting a motorcycle gives you the flexibility to take in both the journey itself and enjoy some scenery. It is also a fun way to see the surrounding countryside.
Price and Permit: 65,000 VND for adults, 20,000 VND for children. You can trek or take a car from the base of Bach Ma Mountain to its summit. The motorbike cannot run up to the top of Bach Ma. If walking up is not your thing, a car available at the park entrance costs around VND 900,000 for a return trip to the top. This is where booking through the fully licensed Danang Tours can make things easier for you and how they can get you all the right permits.

Besides natural beauty, Bach Ma National Park also has high cultural and historical value. The French colonial villas serve as a reminder of the past while local legends and folklore offer a mystical component to your visit. Constructed in the 1930s by the French for use as a hill station, Bach Ma National Park – or “White Horse" – is called that way from local legends speaking of a white horse running through the mountains surrounded by mist and clouds.
