For the clients who book the early luxury limousine transfer will be collected from selected hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Depart for Halong Bay via the modern Hanoi–Haiphong–Halong Expressway.
For the clients who make their own travel arrangements should proceed directly to the designated cruise lounge at Halong International Cruise Port for check-in.
Depending on the selected cruise and transfer package, a later Hanoi departure may also be available.
08:30–09:00 | Check-in and Cruise Embarkation
You arrive at Halong International Cruise Port and complete the check-in procedure. Receive a warm welcome from the crew before transferring to the luxury day cruise.
Enjoying a refreshing welcome drink while the guide introduces the cruise itinerary, onboard facilities and essential safety information.
09:00–10:30 | Cruise Through Halong Bay
The cruise begins its journey through the magnificent landscapes of Halong Bay. Relax on the sundeck and admire thousands of forest-covered limestone islands rising from the emerald water.
Along the way, you can take photograph some of the bay’s most recognisable formations, including Fighting Cock Islet and Incense Burner Islet. The guide will share interesting information about the bay’s geology, legends and UNESCO World Heritage status.
10:30–11:30 | Explore Sung Sot Cave
Disembark at Bo Hon Island to visit Sung Sot Cave, one of Halong Bay’s most impressive natural attractions.
Following the stone pathway through vast chambers filled with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. Coloured lighting highlights the cave’s fascinating rock formations, while the elevated exit offers a beautiful view over the surrounding bay.
You should be prepared to walk on steps and occasionally uneven surfaces during the cave visit.
11:30–12:30 | Visit Titov Island
You will continue traveling to Titov Island, famous for its crescent-shaped beach and panoramic viewpoint. Choose your preferred activity:
- Swim in the calm, refreshing water;
- Relax on the sandy beach; or
- Climb the stone steps to the island’s summit for a spectacular panoramic view of Halong Bay.
The hike is moderately demanding, but the breathtaking scenery from the top makes the climb highly rewarding.
12:30–13:45 | Premium Buffet Lunch on Board
Returning to the cruise and enjoy a generous buffet lunch in the elegant onboard restaurant. A wide selection of Vietnamese specialities and international dishes is served while the vessel continues sailing among Halong Bay’s limestone towers.
Vegetarian meals and other dietary requirements can be arranged with advance notice.
13:45–14:45 | Kayaking or Bamboo Boat Ride at Luon Cave
You will arrive at Luon Cave, a peaceful natural gateway leading into a hidden lagoon surrounded by steep limestone cliffs.
Then, you will explore the area independently by kayak or relax on a traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local boat operator. This tranquil setting offers opportunities to observe lush vegetation, impressive rock walls and, occasionally, native wildlife.
Kayaking or the bamboo boat excursion may be included or offered at an additional charge, depending on the selected cruise package.
15:00–16:00 | Afternoon Tea and Return Cruise
Returning to the ship and relax as the cruise makes its way back to the harbour. Next, you will enjoy afternoon tea, seasonal fruit or light refreshments on the sundeck while taking in the final views of Halong Bay.
Selected departures may also feature live music, onboard entertainment or a sunset-style party during the return journey.
16:00–16:30 | Disembarkation
Arriving back at Halong International Cruise Port and disembark. For clients who stay in Halong may arrange their own onward transportation or book a private transfer to their hotel.
16:30–20:30 | Optional Return Transfer to Hanoi
Board the vehicle for the return journey to Hanoi. A short comfort stop may be made along the way, depending on traffic conditions and the transfer service.
You comeback at your hotel or the designated drop-off point in Hanoi’s Old Quarter at approximately 19:30–20:30. The Halong Luxury Day Cruise to Sung Sot Cave concludes.
