Architecture and Village Life: Admittedly, the Giay villages, particularly Tả Van, boast traditional houses on stilts and those built on the ground, all made from such kinds of natural materials as wood and bamboo. With a central area for the worship of ancestors, their house arrangement shows their respect for their family and tradition. Life in the village daily is a combination of farming, handicraft production, and community living, giving a taste of the timelessness of this Giay way of life.

Culinary Traditions: Giay people enjoy simple, tasty food. Examples are sticky rice and heavy soups. Food is among the most important elements in the culture of Giay, especially during their famous festivals and family gatherings. Sapa Tours gives visitors the possibility of indulging in these traditional delicacies while observing how food affirms community and tradition with the Giay.

Festivals and Folklore: Among the vibrant festivals of the Giay people is the Roóng Poọc Festival, celebrating the beginning of the planting season. Rich folklore, on the other hand, replete with legends and songs, can relay the beliefs and values of these people the Giay. Cultural Etiquette: Visitors going to experience the Life of the Giay People should respect their way of life. Always smile at the locals, ask permission to take pictures, especially in private places, and take off shoes when entering a house. Identify your sitting place by the host and never deposit your legs toward people or the altar. With the presence of these simple guidelines, your respect for the culture will surely shine through, and your trip to Sapa Tours will be greatly filled.

Health and Safety: Staying healthy and safe during your Sapa Tours is important. Keep hydrated, especially while trekking, and opt for bottled water over tap water. Enjoy local food, but go for cooked dishes and be careful when consuming street food. Stick to marked trails during treks, wear appropriate footwear, and take it easy to avoid altitude sickness. Protect yourself from insects by using repellent and never touch plants and animals that you do not know.
