Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam – Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will meet our local representative and transfer by private vehicle to your hotel in central Hanoi.

Vietnam’s capital is a fascinating combination of ancient traditions and modern urban energy. Tree-lined avenues, peaceful lakes, centuries-old temples and colonial-era buildings create a distinctive cityscape. While the narrow streets of the Old Quarter remain filled with local shops, cafés and food stalls.

After checking in, you will enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may relax at the hotel, walk around Hoan Kiem Lake or begin exploring the colourful streets of the Old Quarter independently.

Day 2: Discover the Heritage and Local Life of Hanoi

After enjoying breakfast, you will begin exploring of Hanoi’s historical and cultural landmarks.

Firstly, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important national site dedicated to the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. Subject to opening schedules, you will view the exterior of the Mausoleum before continuing to the traditional stilt house where he lived and worked. Nearby stands the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s most recognisable religious monuments.

Next, you will continue to visit the Temple of Literature, established in the 11th century and associated with Vietnam’s earliest centre of higher learning. Its courtyards, gateways and stone steles offer an introduction to the country’s long scholarly tradition.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant, then visiting another cultural attraction selected according to the operating schedule. Such as the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. The exhibits provide insight into Vietnam’s ethnic diversity, family traditions, crafts and social history.

Later, you will return to the city centre to explore Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You will complete the day with a walking tour through the Old Quarter, where streets historically specialised in particular trades and products.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise

In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before travelling through the countryside of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay.

Upon arrival at the harbour, you will complete the cruise formalities and board your overnight vessel. Receiving a welcome drink and safety briefing before checking into your cabin. Then, lunch is served as the cruise begins sailing among Halong Bay’s remarkable limestone islands and rock formations.

During the afternoon, you will join the cruise’s scheduled excursion. Depending on the selected route and weather conditions, activities may include visiting a limestone cave, kayaking through a sheltered lagoon. As well as travelling by bamboo boat or swimming near a quiet island.

Next, you will return to the vessel in time to relax on the sundeck and watch the landscape change in the late-afternoon light. You may also participate in a cooking demonstration or sunset gathering before dinner is served onboard.

You will spend a peaceful night surrounded by the bay’s dramatic karst scenery.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, you will wake up early to enjoy the tranquil scenery of Halong Bay. In addition, you may join a morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck before breakfast is served onboard.

The cruise continues through the bay while another light activity or shore excursion may be arranged according to the vessel’s programme. Afterwards, you will return to the cruise, check out of your cabin and enjoy an early lunch or brunch as the boat sails back towards the harbour.

In the afternoon, you will disembark and transfer to Hanoi or directly to Noi Bai International Airport, depending on the flight schedule. Board your domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will meet our southern Vietnam representative and transfer to the hotel. The evening is free to relax or independently experience the lively atmosphere of Vietnam’s largest city.

Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City Discovery

After having breakfast, you will travel northwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Cu Chi district. On arrival, you can watch a short introduction to the region before exploring sections of the extensive underground tunnel network.

Here, you will learn how local residents and soldiers created hidden entrances, meeting areas, kitchens. As well as storage spaces and communication routes beneath the ground. Those who feel comfortable may enter a widened section of the tunnels for a brief first-hand experience. Alternative above-ground pathways are available for visitors who prefer not to go underground.

In the afternoon, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and an afternoon sightseeing tour. Then, visiting the Independence Palace, an important landmark connected with the conclusion of the Vietnam War. You will continue to visit the historic Central Post Office and view the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral, subject to restoration and access conditions.

Besides, this tour may also include the War Remnants Museum or another significant city attraction, depending on the operating schedule. Finishing the day with time to explore Ben Thanh Market or walk along the central boulevards.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta Experience

Following breakfast, you will leave the city and travel south towards Ben Tre. This is a peaceful province in the Mekong Delta known for its coconut groves, fertile gardens and interconnected waterways.

Then, you will board a local boat and cruise along the river, observing fishing boats, riverside homes and daily commercial activities. You continue traveling into narrower canals shaded by water coconut palms, where the slower pace offers a closer look at rural life.

Next, you will visit a family-run workshop to learn how local residents produce traditional goods from coconuts or other regional ingredients. Walking through a village, meet local people and discover the agricultural lifestyle of the delta. Depending on seasonal conditions, you may visit a fruit garden and sample locally grown produce.

You will enjoy lunch featuring Mekong Delta specialities before continuing the rural experience by small boat, motorised cart or bicycle. Subject to local conditions and the selected programme.

Returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. The evening is at leisure.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia

In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the remaining time at leisure until your scheduled transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Next, you will board an international flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrival, you will complete immigration formalities and meet our Cambodian representative and transfer to the hotel.

After checking in, you will enjoy free time to relax or explore Siem Reap independently. You may visit the Old Market, walk beside the river or sample Khmer dishes at one of the city’s local restaurants.

An optional evening activity, such as a traditional Apsara dance performance with dinner, can be arranged upon request.

Day 8: Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm and Magnificent Angkor Wat

After enjoying breakfast, you will set out for a full-day exploration of the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Next, you will enter the ancient royal city of Angkor Thom through one of its monumental gates. Continue traveling to Bayon Temple, famous for its towers decorated with serene stone faces. You also explore the nearby remains of Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, once connected with royal ceremonies and public processions.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit Ta Prohm. Giant tree roots wrap around weathered walls and stone galleries, creating one of Angkor’s most atmospheric settings. Moreover, this temple demonstrates the powerful interaction between human architecture and the surrounding jungle.
