07:30 – 08:00: Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter and begin the two-hour journey to Tam Coc. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Vietnam’s history, culture, and local daily life.
10:00: Arrive at Tam Coc and prepare for a 1.5-hour sampan boat trip along the peaceful Ngo Dong River. Glide through three limestone caves and admire the breathtaking scenery of rice paddies framed by towering karst mountains.
11:30: Disembark at Thanh Pier and take a short walk to visit Thai Vi Temple, one of the region’s most notable spiritual sites. Continue walking through a picturesque valley of rice fields and waterways before enjoying a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
14:00 – 15:00: Hop on a bicycle and cycle to Thung Nang, following rivers, lotus ponds, and limestone peaks. Ride through the tranquil Dan Khe Trong Village, offering a genuine glimpse of northern Vietnam’s rural countryside.
15:00: Return to the vehicle and continue to Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, the 10th-century capital of Vietnam. Visit the temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le and learn about their contributions to the nation’s early history.
After the visit, drive back to Hanoi and check in at your hotel for the night.
