Morning: Arrival in Da Nang & Beachfront Relaxation
From 11:00 AM, your Memorable China to Iconic Danang Tours journey will start when you arrive at Da Nang International Airport. Straightaway, a warm sea wind and cosmopolitan but rich cultural city atmosphere will receive you. A 30-minute drive takes you through a coastal highway, and then you’re at a 5-star oceanfront property, checking in for a luxurious vacation. Unwind for a little, drop your bags, and appreciate your room’s ocean-view panorama.
Afternoon: Leisure at My Khe Beach
By 1:00 PM, it’s break time for your journey with a well-deserved stop at My Khe Beach, one of the most rated lovely beaches in the world. Walk through its soft white sands, wade in its transparent blue water, or simply lounge under a beach umbrella and sip a cool one of freshly extracted coconut juice. That’s a perfect beginning to shed off your journey fatigue and enter vacation mode.
Evening: Seafood Feast & Han River Cruise
We have a grand seafood meal at a renowned seafront restaurant at 6:30 PM when sunset takes place. Imaginatively, a plate full of freshly harvested sea pawns, juicy sea-fish grills, rich butter scallops, and Da Nang tamarind crab, a dish renowned for its native ingredients full of native ingredients in everything
The thrill of the evening begins at 8:00 PM with a Cruise in the Han River, and below sea level, you will have a glimpse of Da Nang’s city view with glittering lights. As your boat glides gently down through the river, view the famous Cau Quay (Swing Bridge) and Cau Tran Thi Ly, both beautifully lit in vibrant colors at sunset.
We drive towards Dragon Bridge at 9:00 PM when it spouts both water and fire, a magnificent view that best describes the city’s vibrant personality. By 10:00 PM, we’re at the hotel, with enough time for you to retire for a well-deserved sleep in anticipation of tomorrow’s activity.

Day 2: A Magical Journey to Ba Na Hills & Marble Mountains
Morning: Ascend to the Clouds at Ba Na Hills
Wake early and enjoy a lovely breakfast in preparation, then at 7:00 AM, head out for Ba Na Hills, a lovely hill retreat 45 minutes out of the city proper. On getting there, prepare yourself for a memorable ride in the world’s longest cable car, a 5.8-kilometer ride with panoramic viewings of rolling hills, lush jungles, and veiled summits.
We arrive at 9:00 AM at the summit, and in store for us is the infamous Cau Vang (Golden Bridge). That dreamlike, gold-colored promenade, supported by two gargantuan rock hands, stretches out over panoramic views of the range of hills in Truong Son. It’s a photograph opportunity worth a hundred snaps!
Afternoon: Explore the French Village & Fantasy Park
We stroll at 10:30 AM through Lang Phap (French Village), whose European-inspired streets, grand cathedrals, and cozy cafés make one believe one is in a new universe altogether. For a dash of adrenalin, for all ages, there’s Fantasy Park, an enormous indoor amusement complex in Vietnam with a variety of rides and activity options.
We have lunch at 12:30 PM with a grand, over 100 dish, lunch buffet, featuring both Vietnamese specialties and international dishes. After having stuffed ourselves, we boarded the cable car and off for our next destination: Marble Mountains, or Ngu Hanh Son.
Evening: Exploring Caves & Enjoying Da Nang’s Street Food
We drive to Marble Mountains, a collection of five magnificent white summits, at 3:00 PM, and one of them is named after one of five elements each. Huyen Khong Cave, with sunlight penetrating crevices in rocks, forms a mystical atmosphere, and Lang Da Non-Nuoc, a village renowned for its traditional rock carving, with skillful craftsmen producing pretty carvings, is visited by my group.
We head to Helio Night Market at 6:00 PM, a melting pot of colors and fragrances. There, traditional foods including crunchy bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepes), fragrant mì Quảng (quarrenda with turmeric-infused noodles), and sweet juicy fruits of the tropics will be your chance to try them out.
We return to the hotel at 8:00 PM, allowing for a chance for you to have a break and prepare yourself for a new day of Hoi An discovery.

Day 3: The Enchanting Beauty of Hoi An
Morning: Basket Boat Adventure in Rung Dua Bay Mau
We leave at 8:00 AM for a 45-minute drive via scenic routes to Hoi An, a city renowned for its centuries-old beauty. First, we head to Rung Dua Bay Mau (Bay Mau Coconut Forest), and then board a boat in a serene watercourse lined with lush nipa palm trees for a boat trip via a serene watercourse lined with lush nipa palm trees. Locals reenact a performance, zipping their boats in sharp turns and exhibiting traditional net-fishing techniques.
Afternoon: Discovering Hoi An Ancient Town
We arrive at Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO heritage site, at 10:30 AM. We stroll through its street lined with lanterns, visiting such monuments of yesteryear as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and sacred Quan Cong Temple.
We have a traditional Hoi An lunch at 12:30 PM, featuring the region’s most famous dishes: Cao Lầu, a flavorful dish, and delicate white rose-shaped Bánh Bão Bánh Vạc (White Rose Dumplings).
Evening: Lantern-Making & A Magical Boat Ride
We have a 3:00 PM lantern workshop, during which you will create your colorful-colored lantern to utilize in your new residence as a keepsake.
We have a traditional sunset boat trip down Thu Bon River at 5:30 PM, and then float candles onto the river, a magical performance with lights illuminating the river and surrounding village in a warm, golden glow.
We go to Hoi An Night Market at 7:00 PM, and one can go for locally produced souvenirs or enjoy desserts like banh dap (crackling rice crackers).
By 8:30 PM, we head back to Da Nang, bringing an end to another extraordinary day on Memorable China to Iconic Danang Tours.

Day 4: The Imperial Grandeur of Hue – A Journey into Vietnam’s Royal Past
Morning: Journey to the Ancient Capital of Hue
We depart at 7:00 AM for a 2.5-hour drive via one of the most breathtaking coastal highways in the world, Hai Van Pass, with cloud-shrouded summits and sea vistas rolling out in all directions in front of us. There is a quick stop at Lang Co Bay, whose emerald-green ocean and white sandy beach make for a postcard picture,
We arrive in Hue, a city that overflows with history and refinement, at 9:30 AM, Hue, the imperial city of Vietnam, a city that lives and breathes its past. To start, we head to Grand Dai Noi Hue (Imperial Hue), the imperial residence of Nguyen Dynasty emperors. Walking through its grand gates, we enter a portion of Vietnam’s imperial heritage, seeing Thai Hoa Palace, Cuu Đinh’s exquisite bronze carvings, and The Mieu Temple’s holy atmosphere.
Afternoon: Savoring Hue’s Royal Cuisine & Tranquil Pagodas
We have lunch fit for a king at a Hue traditional garden house at 12:30 PM, with dishes prepared with meticulous care to mimic dishes savored by emperors in the past. Hue’s famous bún bò Hue (beef noodle soup Hue style) will be enjoyed, together with sophisticated bite foods such as bánh bèo, bánh nậm, and bánh bột lọc, with each dish showcasing Hue’s delicate harmony of flavors.
We arrive at 2:00 PM at Chua Thien Mu, the most renowned pagoda in the heart of Vietnam. Towering over Huong River, the seven-story pagoda bears centuries-old Buddhist heritage. Serenity, with the rhythmic clank of bells in a pagoda, brings a reflection in between our hectic journey.
Evening: A Majestic Dragon Boat Cruise on the Hương River
We board a dragon boat at 5:00 PM, when the sunset begins, for a serene boat trip down the Huong River. As we glide over the river, a serene melody of Nha Nhac Cung Dinh Hue (Court Music of Royal Hue) accompanies our journey. Once performed for royalties only, and a UNESCO-listed form, it adds a dash of refinement to our journey.
We enjoy a light early dinner at a pretty riverfront restaurant at 6:30 PM and then depart for our 2.5-hour drive back to Da Nang, arriving at 9:00 PM for a well-deserved break.

Day 5: A Journey Through Time – War History in Quang Tri
Morning: Departure to the Historical Land of Quang Tri
We depart at 7:30 AM for a 2-hour drive towards Quang Tri, a province rich in its ties with Vietnam’s war heritage. As one nears, one sees a transformation in the environment to an idyllic countryside, but under these calm lands, stories of sacrifice and survival unfold.
Our first stop at 9:30 AM will be at Thanh Co Quang Tri (Quang Tri Citadel), a stronghold in days of yore during the Vietnam War. As one wanders through the site, one can almost hear the spooky but glorious stories of battles waged in these locations. Standing at the location is a heart-touching monument in commemoration of heroes who died, a reminder of peace at a price.
Afternoon: Crossing the Historic Hien Luong Bridge
We arrive at 12:00 PM at the Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai River, a one-time boundary between North and South Vietnam. Standing at this bridge, one that in its past represented disunion, we value its present role in representing reconciliation and national unity.
We have a humble but actual rural lunch at a nearby establishment at 1:00 PM, with freshly cooked vegetables, pork barbecue, and hot steaming rice.
We arrive at 2:30 PM at Nghia Trang Truong Son (Truong Son Martyrs’ Cemetery), the largest cemetery in Vietnam, in which over 10,000 dead soldiers have been buried. Walking over such a sacred site is moving and deepens one’s consciousness about Vietnam’s past.
Evening: Return to Da Nang & Nightlife Options
We leave at 4:30 PM for our return trip to Da Nang, arriving at 6:30 PM tonight. Tonight, your leisure can be taken in resting at your accommodation, or out and about and taking in Da Nang’s nightlife. For a memorable one, I have a tip:

Day 6: Farewell to Da Nang – Departure to China
Morning: Last Moments in Da Nang
Make your final morning in Da Nang a leisurely one with a slow breakfast at the beach. Relax in preparation for your journey with a session at your hotel spa, or simply stroll one last time at My Khe Beach, taking in one last sniff of sea air.
For shopaholics, a pit stop at Cho Han or Cho Con, two energetic markets, is a must, and one can buy such specialties including bánh khô mè (crispy sesame biscuits), chả bò (beef sausage, a Danang specialty), or mắm nêm (the strong-smelling fermented fish sauce)—all perfect souvenirs to bring with them when returning home.
Afternoon: Departure to China
